She is a mysterious success story if there ever was one. Do you think this time she’ll play a passive-aggressive character who dresses people down at the end of every sentence?
Completely agree, I've hated almost everything she has been in, her voice is worse than nails on a blackboard.
It’s the reason I finally bought Netflix. I’ve been waiting for this movie for almost a decade, and it looks every bit as amazing as I hoped it would. Scorese certainly isn’t the director to bookend his career with wimpy films. Now we finally get to see what over $50 million in anti-aging CGI looks like.
Wow, this is going to be fantastic. Recently, I worked as an extra in the Ron Howard film, Hillbilly Elegy. I told a friend about it, who asked when it was coming out. I said, "on Netflix, probably after the first of the year." He said, "Netflix? Oh, I thought it was going to be a real movie." The Irishman is going to give Netflix a ton of credibility, but it's still having to be released "in select theatres" to be eligible for awards. I wonder when that'll change.
There is not one second of that trailer I didn’t love. Eddie may have his trophy this time if it’s as good as it looks.
He could talk about child suicide for 90 minutes and make it hilarious. Chappelle has long transcended above the “norm” of stand-up comedy.
Hearing Morgan Freeman say the word "fuck" makes me uncomfortable in ways I cannot thoroughly explain.
What if it was in a dark room? And, you heard Morgan Freeman say in Morgan Freeman voice, "I'm about to fuck you up" ?
Dude put out four specials in short order and all were great. He's truly on another level when it comes to comedian performers.
