How were they even going to get them in the barn? Wasn't the only entrance that wasn't locked up on the second floor only accessible by a wooden ladder? Even if they unlocked a lower level entrance, the walkers would of had a good chance of escaping or eating someone's face off. I stand by the "all the survivors are fucking retarded but extremely lucky" theory. That theory can be reworded to "the writers are fucking retarded."
Well, there was access to the barn to feed them and the walkers are pretty immortal unless you fuck with their brains. My guess would be "dropkick their undead asses from the second level."
Unless we've been watching different series, I don't get where there's confusion here. The zombies are on the first floor. They fed the zombies from the second floor. Why not take the captured zombies to the second floor and throw them down to the first floor? What are they going to do, sprain an ankle?
Dude, how do you lead a zombie up a latter to the landing at the top of the barn? They can't climb, and you can't hoist them up by their necks without decapitating them. The comic can be just as uneventful and painful as this show has, but clearly they ran out of money to do anything interesting for half the season. I'm glad the Sophia story is over. Can we move on to in-fighting and more zombie fights please?
First, much like the "why can't they smell them while they're under the cars" problem, I just have to remind myself that this isn't a guide to surviving a zombie apocalypse, but rather one of how humans deal morally and emotionally to tragic events that basically throw them back into some kind of Hobbesian state of nature. Nevertheless, I can still think of a number of ways they could get the walkers into the barn. 1. Catapult 2. A system of ropes and pulleys to get him to the hay loft 3. Create a diversion by throwing some food at the opposite end of the barn. Both the horse and Otis proved that a walker will stop chasing you if you give it an easy meal.
Remember when they used Glenn as bait to get the Rosie O'Donnell walker out of the well? Yea, I don't think the survivors are smart enough to do any of those things you just listed.
And it continued...I thought this episode was a little shaky. A lot of "Why didn't they check for? Don't they know to do that?" and "Why the fuck is she going? What the hell can she add to the trip?" But as for Rick not being a pussy...fucking awesome.
Rick Grimes like a fucking boss. Not a bad episode, but they need to get off the farm already; it's played out at this point. I'm guessing the thugs Rick put down are from the governors base...
I'm kinda mad because that was the guy from season 1 of True Blood and Terriers. I would have loved for him to stay on. The guy is just fun to watch on TV, a damng ood actor. I'm hoping my coworkers theory about the car crash = miscarriage is right.
I never even thought of the miscarriage thing. Good lookin' out. That scene in the bar had a lot of good tension building, but I knew those 2 guys were gonna die. There was no way they were not. Unless the creators decided to start a really stupid plot line of the crew playing keep-away for a couple of episodes. I find myself wishing some of the women characters would get offed because they are proving to be so fucking useless. The old man is really annoying too because he makes this fucking face in every scene and brings nothing to the table.
I love Dale! I love him to death. Karen needs to die, and Lori needs to die a terrible death. She's so fucking annoying, and the writers have fucked her up so badly. Its like she refuses to believe that the rules have changed and there isn't a zombie apocalypse in progress.
At least Rick has fucked up some Zombies and now two people. I'm on the Rick train. Plus, he's actually English, its not his fault.
How bout you just STFU Olive? Spoiler That car was seriously going like 10MPH to hit the walker then was cut to going 30-40 MPH to hit the jump, flipped in a ditch and then cut again to ending up on the road. This is some horseshit stunt work. Okay this is enough. This season is terrible so far, I don't know if its because they don't have any money, fired Frank Darabont, or a female is in charge of writing or a combination of all three, but DAMN.
Casting info for Season 3 Spoiler So apparently they are casting David Morrissey to play The Governor next season. He played the guy who thought he was The Doctor in the Doctor Who Christmas special The Next Doctor. That is definitely not the casting choice I was expecting. I really don't know how I feel about this...
