I always thought everyone was lying in here until we had an actual meet-up in Toronto and every guy but me was legitimately 6’3” or more. I felt like I went drinking with Manute Bol’s family.
I knew he had lost weight but this is crazy, he’s lost over 250 pounds. Good for him, that is insane dedication and heart. Stories like this should be making headlines. I suppose he’ll get attacked by fat people now, just like Adele did. You know, because she’s a traitor to fat people because she wanted to live to be a senior citizen.
We’ve had a freak winter again. Barely any snow in a month as vicious as January. The lows will be barely below freezing for the next ten days. Ski slopes have used snow makers triple time this year because we’ve basically had a Vancouver winter. After buying myself a new car for the first time I was going to get snow tires (also for the first time) this year, but I honestly haven’t needed them yet. I may not have to spend the extra thousand buck until next year.
Hopefully he makes it longer than other perpetual fat actor Ron "Billy Bob from your favorite I Don't wawnt yo Life! movie" Lester. He once told Adam Carolla on Loveline that he was so ashamed of his body he'd get prostitutes and only eat them out so they didn't see his body.
Well, my weekend didn't go as planned. Found out Saturday that my grandpa had a nasty fall and cracked his head open pretty good. Still in the hospital, hoping he can go home soon. A fall like that at 91 isn't good. Had that wedding to attend on Sunday morning (held at a bar) got obliterated on hazy double IPA's (8.2%) went home as the game was starting, fell asleep, woke up on the couch at 10pm, went to bed and slept until 6am. No hangover though, so win? Edit - Anyone know how I can watch the game? I'm just finding highlights and the half time show
Your cable provider might have a replay. You could also just torrent it. It was free on the Fox app, so you might check there too.
Our weather is confused. After a couple weeks in the 40s-50s, we popped down to freezing again. Had to use a bucket in the sink to get water to the ducks since the hose was frozen. I don't mind the cold but it does create more work for me in the morning.
Snow, what snow, it's 42degC outside at the moment (about 108F). Officially beer o'clock. And f'in hot!
It was 77 here Sunday, Monday morning the wind chill was 28 with a high of 48 for the day. By Saturday we're supposed to be in the 70's again.
Guns and Roses new tour is coming to Atlanta and I really don’t know how I feel about this with fat Axl. I saw Metallica nearly 20 years ago and even back then they did most of their set sitting down. I don’t see this working for GNR.
He was solid on their last tour. And it’s nice to see bands playing stadiums again like the good old days.
I guess this question is mainly for Bandit, but anyone feel free to chime in with experience. The motor for the tailgate on my Suburban is shot and needs replaced. I have moderate knowledge of car maintenance- tune ups, etc. Is this something I want to tackle myself?
I saw them on the last tour and for a bunch of guys that don't like each other, they were super professional and sounded absolutely fantastic. Five stars, would recommend. But ya, between Axl's weight gain, hair loss, and face lift, he looks like a fucking muppet.
