This was one hell of a storm! It was a shit show yesterday evening, my wife was stuck on the highway because three tractor trailers crashed. So what would be a 20 minute drive home was 2 1/2 hours. Overnight we got two feet here, and places to our east got even more, some as much as 3 feet. We went out early to dig out because she had to work still. I immediately got the four wheeler stuck trying to plow. Fortunately my neighbor saw and came over with his snowblower to open up the driveway so I could move around. Between the driveway, the paths to the animals and getting some snow off the roof we were out there over three hours. This is the kind of Winter we had when I was a kid. Although it seemed a lot more fun back then. Now it's just a pain in the balls. Looks nice though.
We got .03 inch of rain this evening, which finally snapped our consecutive days without rain streak at 240 days. The old record was 150 straight days. Fuck the dessert.
It's kind of juvenile but I saw this on FB and some of the comments made me laugh.* You take your first and last name, replace the first four letters with "fuck" Mine is Fucken Fucker *Could also be the Jim Beam finding it funny
Fuck Fuckley Also, just for something entertainingly different: Dude decides to try the hobo, train hopping lifestyle for the first time:
We could add to the game, try and deduce real names from our fuck-fuck names. And then describe what evidence we used to get the real name. Wrong answers only. I'm guessing @Frebis is really Fred Caulder. Fred because of Frebis and Caulder because I think Nigel Caulder is a awesome.
give it a week, nett will write some program that will run the possible name combinations against a list of names/addresses in the rough geographical area for each person.
Nett probably already knows all our names, and is instead gonna change all our official identities to our Fuck-names
This is why I’m not playing along. My last name is rare and lengthy enough that most of it would still be evident.
Our school district decided, correctly, to have the kids stay home and do all virtual school today because many of the streets were still too snowy to drive on. In fact, it looked to me like some of the streets weren't even plowed yet. Which is funny, as here in the country our road is perfect. Anyway, we still had to report to work to clear snow from the busses. One of my co-workers gave me a weird look when I joked about going for a 12 pack. She said it was too early, I pointed out that the sun was coming up. After three hours of pulling two feet of snow off of them with a roof rake, I decided that was good enough. So now I'm off for the weekend, work two days, then Christmas vacation til 1/4 ( unless NY gets shut down ).
