This is a classic, epic video from the racing crowd. If you race, and are forming up on the grid, you absolutely feel for this guy... because he was Seven!
I don't fucking know, and I'm too afraid to ask. This is on par with tattoos. Curious enough to look and text my husband about it, never ever going to go ask. It's always some deeply stupid personal story. Just decoded the girl's name. I couldn't quite catch it the first 12 yells. Whisper. Whisper and Seven. What a life those kids are in for.
Seven is a Turkish name. It means "loving one." (I think Erika Badhu has a kid named Seven?) I don't know the origin of Whisper, but I think it means "pregnant by 15"
We're in East Oregon and these people are not Turkish. That's a very generous understanding of the situation, lol. More like, somebody's on drugs and these kids are either under care of their grandparents or foster parents.
I also know a Seven. He’s three years old and my wife and I make fun of his parents at least once a week. I went to high school with a “Seventy”. I don’t understand.
Christ, work in the public education system, you’ll hear some real doozies. And then there’s the common sounding names but they’re misspelled. As if that is somehow endearing and unique instead of a red flag for would be employers some day.
That's the dumbest shit. I knew a girl whose name was Jeniffer instead of Jennifer. Imagine having the most basic girls name and have to spell it out for everyone
My mother claims that, when I was born, she shared a hospital room with a woman from the Dominican Republic who spoke essentially no English, and named her daughter "placenta" because the doctors diagnosed her with placenta previa, and the woman kept hearing them say it but didn't understand what it meant. That would be a fun one to explain.
Isn’t there a Seven in Star Trek also? My husband (jokingly?) suggested Seven as a baby name but he also suggested about 1000 other insane things, I think mostly to fuck with me.
Usually Trek fans just name their cats Seven. If you are going with a girls name from Voyager most go with Kathryn or Janeway.
All words are made up. There is a first time every word was used. I actually think Whisper and Seven are kinda neat, if you're not going to use a traditional Whitney and Steven. I've heard / seen much dumber names than Whisper.
