I can't stop watching this. Make sure the sound is on, because the noise at impact is fantastic. Language is NSFW. https://thrillblender.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/videoplayback1.mp4
I saw that and figured, "meh, it'll be like all the rest..." but then at the end, "NOPE NOPE NOPE". I'd REALLY like to know what her prognosis is... because that was very much akin to the procedure for a frontal lobotomy.
I mean - maybe that it didn't go right IN, and looked like it was kind of in the corner? And, it made that straw in a juicebox sound. I guess it's possible that it was all fake, but her reaction sure looked real. ETA: I keep watching it full screen and each time I cringe.
I could only watch it twice. The second time only to confirm what I thought I saw. I do not ever need to see it again, but my twins are going to get a lecture tonight about drinking and "hold my beer" stunts and dares.
In other "let's get views on social media" news... Start watching at about 44:30 or before... it's a guy doing a live-stream while he's driving from some movie shoot he was in. Hand-held camera phone, people texting/messaging him. Short version, he wasn't paying attention, came to a stop sign, turned right onto a main road, and then got absolutely t-boned by a semi coming down the other way. If you pause it and look at the reflection in his sunglasses, you can see it. NO WAY this is staged... that scream he makes is better than any actor I've ever seen, and he ain't that good. Apparently someone died at that same intersection 2 days ago, and his accident was yesterday, and he was medivac'd to the local hospital and is in unknown condition, but recovering. Darwin in action.
I hope he lives. To get charged. Here's a screen cap of the semi reflection in his glasses. FUCKING HELL.
Along the same lines: WATCH: English teacher records own drunk driving spree (I don't think I can embed the video)
I have problems with that title. The person is a British person who teaches? Does she teach the English language? A English English teacher? Knowing English language teaching teachers that level of drunk driving is called a Tuesday.
See, people like this I hope don’t survive the crash. That stupid bitch had the opportunity to kill many people and fortunetly didn’t. In the daytime, when kids are awake and out. I don’t know how this level of reckless drunk driver EVER gets their license back.
http://www.macleans.ca/canadas-most-dangerous-places/ You don't see anything east until #25 on All Crime - Temiskaming (Temiskaming Shores) Ontario. Everything before that is in the west. We like assault here, top 5 and top 10 for sexual assault.
Hilarious... my sister was born in Thompson, MB... we lived there for a few years while dad was a bush pilot. What a shit-hole.
Does anyone else remember the old B&W TV series from the 60's "One Step Beyond"? They did reenactments of supposed paranormal events. I remember watching it with my mom when I was little. Anyways, I just picked up a 4 pack of DVDs with like 50 episodes.....it's been at least 45 years since I've seen the show, so it should be interesting to see if it's as bewitching now as it was to my fragile 8 year old intellect. In the same vein...I won an e-bay auction for seasons 1-6 of "A Haunting"....pretty much in the same genre as One Step Beyond, but with ghosts. Anyways, the awesome thing about that buy is I won the auction with a $.99 bid and $4.80 shipping. I got the DVDs a few days ago. You can't beat a deal like that.
I just picked up the entire run of The Twilight Zone. Watched a couple of them last night while working in the shop, and they really seem to hold up.
Best show ever. It broke all the rules and invented some new ones: endings aren’t always happy, things aren’t what they seem, and no character is safe.
