Not to interrupt the moist hazelnut buttercream.... Gaiters have been mentioned here a few times. Anybody have a recommendation where to buy, or which ones to get? There's a shitload on Amazon, but I don't know if I trust them all. Some people are saying they got something that just looks like a t-shirt sleeve. I've been wearing some masks my sister made, and I tie them so I can slip it down around my neck when nobody's working around me at the job. I figure gaiters might be more comfortable.
lol I fucking love this YT channel: In other news, Smarter Every Day is doing a bit on him (Dustin) doing some nuclear ice submarine shit in the Arctic... it's pretty interesting so far...
Anyone ever make an online booze order so big that they called to check if it was a legit order? “Yeah... it seemed comically large, like a prank, so we were just checking...” STFU and bring me my booze ya bastard.
You inspire me. I just took out the sourdough starter to use it in some chocolate cake. I'm thinking chocolate cake with some kind of cream cheese frosting. I dunno. This plan is evolving. Party at Nett's house! What are you serving?
Was going to include Harvey Wallbangers, but turns out galliano has been in short supply for a while. Maybe The COVID is killing off that demographic.
So, just screwdrivers then. If it was killing them off you'd be able to get some. Oh here is your alcoholic beverage PSA of the day. You can make some rad frozen margaritas or daiquiris in an ice cream maker.
not snarky at all, it's a legit question. NA wine is created as full-strength wine, then has the alcohol removed. This can be accomplished through a variety of processes, the most common of which is when they create a vacuum environment in the tanks in order to lower the boiling temp of the alcohol then remove it that way, though some places use reverse-osmosis or other such filters, or and others have proprietary ways of removing the alcohol in steps through the alcohol-making process. These are achieved to varying degrees of success; Gruvi's gluten-free NA prosecco is a great example of when this is done right. NA beer is a whole other ballgame, as it's seen a major boom in the last year or so. Same alcohol-removal processes as with NA wine, but consistently better results. There's dozens of NA craft brews available now, some from NA-only breweries, whereas other traditional breweries such as Brooklyn Brewery, Heineken, Two Roots, etc. have simply added NA options to their lineup. As I type this I'm drinking BrewDog's Ghost Walker NA IPA, which was made in collaboration with metal band Lamb of God. It's fucking incredible.
Fun fact: I drunkenly proposed to my wife at their hotel here in Columbus. That being said, their beer is kinda meh compared to a lot of the other local breweries, with the exception of Elvis Juice. It's a grapefruit IPA that does a great job of balancing the hint of fruitiness but still having an actual IPA taste.
