This is a really interesting pic of one of the Chinese balloons taken from a U2.

Really looks like a substantial electronics payload on that balloon...

Gordon Lightfoot gives us a six-and-a-half minute heart-wrenching epic, and the best you can do is “sorry for your boat, Canada?”

Should have said, "thoughts and prayers for your boat, Canada."

Watching a bald eagle sleep and its chest cavity rise and fall as it breathes is very therapeutic.

We had the lightest of snow flurries yesterday for about 3 minutes.

Buddy of mine bought a house in Montana claiming the winters really aren't that bad. Yeah, it's -1* there right now.

We got a ton of freezing rain overnight... went down to -8 (wind chill to about -17 they say), and over the next little while it's supposed to bounce between -5 and +5°C with freezing rain and snow.

I hate this kind of weather, but am really glad I'm not having to commute in it.

It's going to go from 70 down to 25 in the span of about 8 hours here. Ohio weather is constantly drunk.

It is 77 and humid as fuck. There's low rain clouds but it'll probably pass us. It rained hard last night. Last week it was actually damned chilly. Packing for bipolar weather over 2 weeks.... Fun.

Back at my house it is 20F and snowing. I'm looking forward to it.

Close to 2/3 of the city I’m in is out of power and there have been lots of fireworks shows. We are at a friend’s house in the town next door that fared a lot better but now we’re having big flickers here, too. The ice is starting to melt but it’s going to get colder tonight. The power company says they hope to have power restored to 95% of customers by Sunday

It's 80, partly cloudy, with a light breeze here.

Back to you in the studio, Bob.
