    I've heard reports that his sister is been quietly moving up into the inner-circle, and could be tagged next. I would hope that the State Department sees the once-in-a-lifetime importunity to try and reach out, and walk that country back from the ledge, but with what's happened over the last 4 months.......

    I'm just hoping everyone's hands are away from the "fire-Missile" buttons....

    Good luck with that if the sister ends up in charge. Female dictator in her early 30s coming to power unexpectedly? Yeah, that's a recipe for some pretty extreme brutality to consolidate her position. Especially with the older brother still alive. Even if he doesn't want to be involved, there would likely be some people in power who might try to use him to shore up their own situation.

    If the rumors are to be believed, complications from heart surgery. Either that or the surgery went fine and he's recuperating. Or there never was a surgery. Who knows.

    multiple reports are that he needed a stent put into his heart, and either it was delayed for too long, or something went wrong during the procedure.
