Even better... GoldenEye for Switch and XBox. They better not fuck this up, that was one of the best games of all time.
I got this game taken away from me so many times as a child. This was back when the media was during that “video games cause violence” and my parents were convinced that my brother and I being good at golden eye meant we were gonna be murderers or some shit then we moved to a ranch and turns out we were both just really good shots. That game was glorious for the mode where you could go against each other, though proximity mines can suck my dick.
I am considering getting a Switch just for the Turok reissue. I do have a wii, which was a waste in hindsight. My wife got me the Goldeneye remake for that. First off, it was dark. Too dark. Couldn’t even play it. Secondly, I am not a regular gamer. So when it came to the online multiplayer? It was an endless cycle of spawning and dying within seconds.
MSFT is already fucking it up by not having online play. Nintendo will, though. I guess if you care about the N64 polygons in 4K, it will be fine on Game Pass.
Having a nice ripe liquid shit this morning (thanks, coffee +tempeh), when my kid hits their head on the doorway and come to sit shrieking in my lap for consolation. Motherhood is glamorous.
Maybe I am a weirdo then. I always have the door open so the kid can find me. It's supposed to help with potty training too.
Yeah, I don't get that logic either. Obviously I can't remember when I was a baby but I don't recall ever being in the bathroom while my mom was dumping and I definitely don't remember either of my younger siblings being in there with her. I dated a girl who lived who had a 6 year old and she also lived with her mom. I don't know why they even had bathroom doors. Buddy of mine is the same way. Him and his wife will go #2 with the door open. I can't imagine using the restroom with the door open while my wife is there. Why not just shut the door?
If your toddler is screaming from hurting themselves, do you open the door to see what's the matter or do you continue pooping?
Put the toddler in their playpen where they can't get hurt?* I would continue pooping. But, I take 30 sec dumps. Never understood why it takes some people so LONG to use the restroom. *Full disclosure - I don't have kids and I've never babysat so probably not the best judge of childcare. Edit - Also never changed a diaper in my life. A fact I am extremely proud of.
I put the toddler in a safe place before I start. Whether that be a crib or play pen. We also had the living room gated off. In this specific situation I would say “I will be there in a minute”.
To each their own. No playpens in the house. My kid would climb over them anyway. I've had to start putting a baby gate taller than kiddo outside their bedroom door for the current sleep regression and they still climb out.
