I mean weather an early flurry by Lewis because after 1 round, his fat ass is gassed. Then DC can go for a take down with less risk of being sent into orbit.
My only real concern is that Lewis doesn’t have much time to work on his cardio. Less than a month til the title fight and he doesn’t need to be that heavy. He could drop like 15-20 lbs and still be extremely powerful. L
There's NO way he goes cardio to cardio with DC.... he's got to go 100% with an early stoppage as his game plan. I have to think that his mindset will be "if it's not done in 2 rounds, stick a fork in my hot balls".
I also think that he'll be one hell of a draw based on this last PPV, which drew over 2 million buys, and his Rogan man-crush and Instagram. (He gained more than 900k followers within a day since the Rogan shout-out). Even if he loses, that's a lot of BBQ for his family.
This hurricane is no joke. My parents are a bit south of Tampa, off the radar basically for any of the warnings, and today the storm surge went over the sea wall and into their yard. So 3-5 ft or so. And that's with them being far, far away from any remote sense of worry.
The only upside of my grandfather passing away last year is that I don’t have to travel to Twinsburgh, Ohio anymore.
It's crazy how different the effects are depending on what side of the hurricane you're located. My family is sending emails of status. My AL family, according to meteorologists best predictions, thought the hurricane would weaken overnight but it strengthened to a cat 4. Only 11mph more and they're having a cat 5. Florida, hold onto your buttholes.... Hopefully the hurricane will go where ever it's going to peter out. Otherwise it'll be like Harvey where it is dumping water as it hangs overhead. Is your family staying planted or do they have highground to escape to?
Was projected to be right on my head tonight, but now dipping a bit southeast. Still projected to be Cat 1 when it hits central / south Georgia. I expect to lose power tonight and hope the trees fall in the "right" direction.
They're staying where they are. The winds and water isn't so much of a concern as is tornadoes, and with the randomness of those it's pretty much just your unlucky day if you get hit. The people where this thing made landfall though are fucked. Even if they need rescue at this point, the rescuers can't get to them from the flooded roadways and destroyed infrastructure.
What remains of panama city. They're saying that due to all the infrastructure damage some people can be without power for 1-2 weeks if not more.... I can't imagine that. If we were without power for that long, it'd certainly suck, but at least we're on a ranch so we can kill animals to eat and boil water from our creek. If that happened to me in a city, I don't know what I'd do.
My first duty station was at Tyndall AFB which is just east of Panama City. We used to spend a lot of time in Mexico Beach, FL which is just east of the base. There's not much left of Mexico Beach, FL
I'm really, really tired of hurricanes. Florence sat over us forever and it rained for days. And here comes Michael - we're forecasted to get 4"-8" of rain tomorrow. The main concern here is that the ground is already saturated and trees will come down. The photos and videos I've seen from Florida are crazy bad.
