The judge had disallowed the “executive producer failing” argument before the trial started. I had been pretty staunchly in the not culpable if two people, whose job is specifically to make it safe, had told him it was safe. Then I heard an interview with the special prosecutor who quit the day it was thrown out say they had evidence and were going try and prove at trial there was another incident where he had used an extra as a stand in and practiced firing blanks at him to rehearse a different scene. Does that make him reckless in the incident where the lady was killed? Possibly more in the jury’s mind. I’d not heard that story in the previous trial. Guess we’ll never know. Seeing the lead prosecutor try to weasel out of the claim she called him a cocksucker was grade A hilarious.
They literally could have chose anybody else on earth. Roseanne can finally hang up her gloves— there’s a new Anthem Queen of Fucktard Mountain. I noticed this is in Houston. Now I’m glad they hired her to poison the day and piss them off, fuck those people.
I would say that’s on par with most country music these days. That musical genre is going through a rough stretch.
Rough stretch? Main stream country is fucking terrible. There's a local station that plays country music from all decades and occasionally I get out of the car when something good is on and then get tortured getting back in the car sometime later and some currect shitfest is playing. Today, it was Blake Shelton.
Talking how bad country music is these days, check out the number of nominations this chick has. She's been nominated for FOUR Grammys https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingrid_Andress#Awards_and_nominations
For the trifecta post, I actually listened to some of her songs and they sound just about like every modern pop country singer. So, did she have a horrible off day or is she just that autotuned in the studio?
When I toured with Lilith Fair, at the big group sing at the end, Sarah McLachlan would ask the sound guys to keep a number of the artists out of her in-ear mix as they were fucking terrible... totally a result of studio production. Meredith Brooks couldn't carry a tune to save her life. But people like Eryka Badu, or the Dixie Chicks? Amazing performers that were just as good, if not better, singing live.
she's a great songwriter, but they do some crazy production with her voice and her personality is complete shit. I'm a fan of country music. The stuff you hear on the radio is not a good representation of the quality of people currently out there, though every once in a while someone good slips through. I would suggest checking out Lauren Watkins, Tyler Childers, Morgan Wade, Redferrin, Mackenzie Carpenter, Koe Wetzel and Jenna Paulette as a good sampling of some people currently up and coming (Childers is more established) who really have a cool sound.
