That makes sense. I figured there were some "lessons learned" improvements. Saints-Packers game has been moved to Jacksonville.
Scariest night of my friggin life, but we’re alive and well. I was lucky with only two big trees down in my back yard, but none hit the house thankfully. Cell service is spotty at best, and won’t have electricity for weeks probably. so yay!
So glad to hear you are safe! Those big trees that I miss from living in the south make storms much more dangerous. You are so fortunate they fell away from you.
Y’all okay up there in the northeast? Just turned on the weather channel to a car floating down a street in New Jersey. what the fuck y’all?
I've come across some weird shit looking for an old house. Strangely, I've seen this scenario more than once:
I thought our laundry room was bad. I think it started as a utility room with the hot water heater, but later the washer and dryer were moved there and after a remodel, a prefab shower stall and toilet now share the space. I learned the hard way not to poop in there because the furnace fan/AC filter will suck it all up and circulate it throughout the house.
Got 7 inches of rain yesterday. 6+ of that fell between 9pm and 2am. Tornado watches popped up in several places, with actual tornadoes tearing up parts of PA and NJ. 9 dead as of this mornings news. Crazy stuff last night for sure.
Tornadoes here in NJ, mostly east and south of my town. Severe flooding in many places- the storm dropped upwards of nine inches in some places. We’re on a hill, so no flooding and luckily no wind damage. Only lost power for a few hours this morning. Incredible to think the storm had this much power after crossing half the country.
We just got a Liberator Esse chaise and holy fuck. Worth every penny. Aside from being astoundingly comfy just to sit and read in, fucking on this thing is pretty amazing. I haven't found a position I couldn't get comfortable in yet.
I'm about to fly into Boston. Is Constitution Beach still above water, or should I rebook on a pontoon plane?
my brother's retarded dog just ran head first into my broken leg. I have never wanted to punt an animal so much, yet here we are. fucker is cute as hell though
So cool, but so much more of a project than I want to tackle. It's in Maine, built in 1797 using lumber from old ships. The building is not structurally secure. Such a shame,so much history...I hope someone saves it before it collapses.
