And they could’ve gone a totally different direction. When you grow up on the internet, Rule 34 shows you some shit.
In our bed and breakfast, two of the rooms have paintings with titties. I'm waiting on my millions to arrive.
There was a truck that stopped at a neighbors house. It was modified (jacked up, etc.) While it was stopped it emitted a sound reminiscent of a jet engine or maybe a table saw. Not overly loud mind you, just odd. What the hell was causing the sound?
I was too far away to give more detail. But, I think you have it right. It was definitely modified and apparently if you run a straight pipe exhaust you can get a jet engine type noise while at idle from a large truck turbo. Thanks for clueing me in, I hadn't heard anything like it coming from a vehicle.
Yup, a straight-piped diesel will easily make a jet-engine noise (some more easily than others). Fun fact: turbochargers can easily reach speeds of over 100,000 rpm! No, I did not add an extra zero.
Out on the lake yesterday, we met a big family that fled Ukraine. Only one woman was fluent in English. The rest knew very little. The oldest gentleman, likely the grandfather to the kids and father to those our age said, "Ukraine, where they fight", and put his fists together in front of him. I shook his hand, told him it was nice to meet him and that I was glad he was here and "fuck Putin", he grinned and repeated the last. Our kids played hard together, pushing each other off our foam mat into the water. They offered us some hotdogs they made on a small charcoal grill. They liked to take selfies with their beers and the water behind them.
celebrating our 12 year anniversary today by taking the boys camping tomorrow. I get the job of pulling the rented 39 foot travel trailer, which should be a blast.
