If you're implying that she did it on purpose, rather than she was texting or otherwise not paying attention, then fuck yeah, that's awesome.
So what am I supposed to be amazed about this new Apple VR headset? We've been promised world changing shit since the Nintendo Virtual Boy. 3500$? RIIIIGHT. The only thing that has been more over promised and under delivered was the METAVERSE!?!>!>!!!!! Also:
I don't see much use for it at home to watch netflix, but I can think of dozens of industrial applications where it would be useful. It's essentially a civilian version of various helmet mounted display systems used by fighter pilots.
You Canadians really know how to have a forest fire. The air quality down here on the southern border of NY sucks. It's super hazy out there and you can smell the smoke. I don't recall tis ever happening before, holy shit.
Even in the areas more in the middle of the state it's really bad. This photo doesn't do it justice, but it's not cloudy out at all and it's dark enough to be 7pm. I was out working in the garden for a bit and kept freaking out looking back at the house cause it looked like it was smoking.
Everyone sells out to them eventually. You are talking about people with trillions of dollars. Very few people care about “principle” or “dignity”once that kind of money is involved, just look at Beyoncé.
Yeah it’s the same way here and any pic I’ve taken doesn’t convey it well: Although now that I look at that pic it kinda does. It’s lightened up some, the suns actually getting through, but it’s still hazy. I’ve been feeling wheezy all afternoon too. No one I’ve talked to can recall ever seeing this before. It’s nuts.
Same here in Eastern PA. The sun was a giant orange ball last night and this morning, and all day today it's looked like some dystopian/apocalyptic landscape. I went out for a walk at lunch and now have a headache. Air quality warnings are no joke.
Canada, somewhere, right? we had some Canadian smoke a month or so ago here in Nebraska. It looked about like that.
Nova Scotia. All the schools in our area didn’t let the kids outside today because it’s so bad. The sky has been a yellowish-gray all day and you can smell the smoke immediately when you go outside.
Welcome to California summers folks. There've been some summers where we barely go outside or we'll wake up and it look like snowed (ash) on the cars.
