White/Gold for me. I remember seeing this when it first came out years back and it was blue/black for me and then bam! it switched to white/gold and I've never seen it as blue/black since.
Mad props to painters capable of photorealistic artwork because holy duck, this took forever and I used a stencil and it's still not great.
Watching a good sign painter at work is mesmerizing to me. Right up there with a pinstriper. The years of experience and talent is a true art form.
I don't understand the question. In the first pic it looks blue/black. In the second it's white/gold. Are some of you saying you can only see one color combo in both pics?
In the post that 'wildered used to start off the WDT thread, I think those are two intentionally hued images to show both variations. The one I posted next was the original "debate" photo from several years ago. Some people see that one as blue/black and some people see that one - though looking at the same image - as white/gold.
I completely understand that point. I do find myself wondering about "who was this person who has left this home and some/most/all of its contents." But as I see it, all I'm really doing is increasing the value of the estate for the remaining relatives that will be splitting whatever value is left. I am assuming any really important keepsakes and memorable or valuable items have already claimed by the family. Our treasures of the day was an extra large blanket, a weighted blanket (new), a dress shirt and a shirt jacket (both still in their packaging, never worn). Then a small rolling ice chest with the tags still on it and a couple of Christmas ornaments that my wife wanted. Also, several months ago at a yard sale, met a really cool lady whose husband had passed away and she was now moving. I spied in their garage several Pit Passes on lanyards, including a couple from Le Mans. I asked her about it and he was a former racer turned team manager on a few race teams. She even gave me a few of them. He's the team manager in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qblm-GSeBgg
Now children have their own Fyre Festival— The Willy Wonka Experience in Glasgow. This is textbook “Whatever you do… don’t go viral” and it went viral.
Ahhh, gotcha. Thanks for the explanation. The pic you posted looks white/gold to me. Although it's an off looking white.
I think it's a white/gold dress because my eyes were first drawn to her boobs which made it the prominent colour followed by the gold. It's simple I'm male and my eyes are drawn to boobs first.
My tolerance for drunks seems to have reached an all time low. I love seeing people having fun, enjoying our show. And I like a crowd right up to the stage, I hate that huge empty floor space between us and the audience. But when they start jumping around, flailing about and knocking into our stuff, they will get told to knock it off fast. I’ve managed to avoid a chipped tooth from a mic knocked into my mouth and I’d like to keep it that way. Amazingly none of our gear has ever gotten broken either. We have a very limited schedule this year by design, with most of the remaining dates being music festivals, not bars. I’m good with that.
Saw Tom Segura at Mohegan Sun last night. Have not laughed that hard in a very long time. Never used to think he was funny, but the guy really polished his act quite a bit.
Proud of myself. Last night was the first time I've been around a lot of cocaine in years and I didn't touch the stuff. Went to my best friend's birthday and it was like old times for some of the others. Good lord was it tempting, but I cannot go down that road again. It was a good reminder why I stay away from some old friends.
Ive been listening to Tim Dillon for the past few months, completely whiffed seeing him when he was in town. He's got an outrageous contrarian schtick that took me 2-3 podcast to get into. It cracks me the fuck up and is my most anticipated podcast each week. Even his live ad reads have me in tears when he's on a role. I love both of them on podcast but have been ehh on their actual in front of crowd stand up. Something about playing to a crowd when you're not in it is just not as funny to me these days as the bullshitting that goes on in comedy podcast. No wonder they all have multi million dollar podcast contracts.
I went to get my oil change this afternoon. The place I take it has done a lot of work for me on a lot of cars over the years, so I know several of the guys. The old manager has now moved to a new town to open another branch of the chain, and one of the younger dudes is now like the assistant manager or something. I pull in and the tech says, "okay, that's going to be $99.49" (5+ quarts, full synthetic). I see my "buddy" and I'm like, "hey, Buddy, how about a 10% discount since I'm such a good customer?" and he says "I can't do 10%, but how about $10 off?" Yep, that will be fine, thanks!
lol, I guess that's a poke that I paid too much? Have you bought oil and filter lately? Full synthetic Quaker State is $8.79/qt, which is the cheapest I could get at Advance Auto + $12 for Purolator Filter + 7% tax means I'm paying $20 to have it changed in 10 minutes, and they also top off my washer fluid and check the rest? Yep. I am a cheap SOB, but until it's out of warranty period, I'm going to keep letting them do it. I only got 450K miles out of my last truck though, so what do I know?
We use full synthetic in the Highlander and I think it's about $80 for a change. I definitely recall it being $60-70 when we first bought it but you know how it goes.
