Don't you think Rogan would see through Tucker's bullshit? I'm not saying that Rogan is the smartest guy, but if you just listen to Tucker for awhile, you can start finding areas where he's out of his element.
I can’t believe they don’t already know each other. They both know and have been on Tim Ferriss, and Max was the publisher of David Goggin’s book. Both in Austin, and I think Max trains MMA occasionally with Tim Kennedy. I’d be so surprised if they’ve never at least hung out.
Also, hasn't TM gotten really into dmt and such? Rogan is all about that life. I would be surprised if they hadn't hung out too.
If I hear the name David goggins one more time I’m gonna smash my head through a wall. In the running community everyone ate it all up, until people started meeting him. Turns out he’s an insufferable douchecanoe who believes his own hype. As the saying goes, never meet your heroes. The ultra runners I know all swear he’s on some sort of gear.
He’s not well regarded by most SEALs. The Luttrel brothers like him, probably because he was physically with Morgan for the days when they thought Marcus was dead. Otherwise, he’s never been on any of the major guy’s shows. Andy Stumpf praises his current motivation work but has flatly said he’ll never invite him on, thanks to his reputation. He unquestionably motivates people. You want that kind of voice pushing you at the gym. But he’s almost certainly on gear; how could you not be, putting your body through that level of abuse? Regardless, he made a metric fuckton of money by going through scribe rather than the other major publishing houses.
That's a lame excuse and not one we'd expect to hear from the Netdata that we've come to know. What we expect is a Bob Villa thread post about adding a second story to your home for your Rush pinball machine and expanding the garage for the GT3.
Ha. There are thoughts, have no fear, but most of them revolve around finishing my last 2 years of work (while all my work stuff finishes vesting so I get fully paid out), and then building a new place from scratch on some mountain side in BC. Probably near a race track. With a big barn/shop. I am looking at doing some updates around the house, but I'm trying to be cognizant of that "does it make sense to do that to THIS house or just buy a new one" train of thought. That being said, I am working on buying a commercial investment property right now that could help with that... it's a 15 unit industrial complex, the kind that rent out a unit for a few grand a month to carpenters or other light industrial types. If that goes through, then I'd end up keeping 2 of them for my personal use (one for trailer/misc storage, etc) and the other for a small shop. We'll see how that goes.
I'm young enough to walk up stairs, certainly, but I hate two story houses. My bedroom was upstairs where I grew up, but there was no bathroom upstairs. It was a huge old farm house with one bathroom on the opposite end of the house, so it was like a 200' round-trip with a flight of stairs to go pee at night. Probably where my preferences for single story houses comes from.
