I've now found that if I stay about 3-4 minutes behind "live" then it keeps the buffer full and doesn't impact the playback. So far.
Just think of all the people who have been paying for Netflix for years without using it, and are now like “oh yeah…”
Yeah... I really wonder what Netflix is going to get out of this. It'd be really interesting to see how many people buy a new subscription just for this... But it also sounds like they may be getting into more live sports, like the NFL, so it just may be a big marketing event.
Our son wanted to see the fight bad enough that he signed up for Netflix. I wasn’t gonna argue. It’s streamed well all night but buffering now so must be more people are tuning in.
So, is it just me, or is this chick fight the best one so far of the night? Too bad there are a bunch of head butts that are splitting her eye open... but man, they're really throwing down...
From what we can tell, yeah it’s great. The buffering and the dipshit screaming over the entire match are definitely detracting from the experience.
That was a GREAT fight. I’m glad they filled the card with real boxers instead of Paul’s usual amateur dipshits. Also, which down syndrome-assed fucks judged that fight? Ridiculous call.
