If it makes you feel any better, I have a terrible case of pink eyes, yes plural, right now. Don't know where I got it but it's nasty. My eyelids were literally glued shut this morning. Thankfully a buddy's kid had it recently and he dropped off the eye drops yesterday.
Just so you know, most pink eye is viral and not bacterial. I wouldn’t use random eye drops from a kid with pink eye.
I wouldn't use anyone's eyedrops unless they were sealed and unused. Too many people touch the droppers to their eyes.
My Google doctors degree says not much you can do for viral . All symptoms pointed to bacterial. Viral is said to have a very thin discharge. Bacterial is very thick and sticky. Definitely in the latter camp. The drops are polymyxin b sulfate and trimethoprim. I didn't want to go to the ER so I figured I'd try the drops and if it wasn't clearing up by Monday morning, I'd go to my doctor. I started the drops about this time yesterday and they're already WAY less gunky Anywho... it's just my eyes. They're not that important, right?
Right? My husband and I each need antihistamine eye drops a few times per year and even sharing with him squicks me out a little. We used to have our own but mixed them up enough times we stopped buying separate ones. But that’s for allergies, not gross booger eyes.

20 mile run tomorrow morning then into the taper for London. Two marathons, including training, starting from zero, all within a 12 month period. I will be taking some time off then targeting shorter distances over the summer, Austin marathon next year, maybe an ultramarathon in the winter, but really just working on more speed work and lean muscle building over half marathon-25k distances. This shit has become absolutely draining, physically but especially mentally. I'm beyond excited that the end is in sight. But I am equally as excited for this to end for a bit and give myself a break.

It doesn't seem like they do it anymore, but it was amusing to see the mob like tactics they used if you had some oddball situation pop up and you needed to purchase some extra feature in order to process. "Oh, we see you withdrew some $$$ from your HSA, shame if you weren't able to report that properly and owed thousands of dollars to the feds."
Everyone has cameras, and everyone wants to get famous from using them. They are exposing what has always existed. Oh, things are getting out of hand in NYC subways? Shall we take a Time Machine back to 1977 and we can explore that same city? Just imagine what unspeakable horrors that iPhones would capture on 42nd street back then in a single night. Or the Bronx for the mattter.
