Is Lululemon actually any good, or is it just a bunch of overpriced sweatshop stuff? I'm asking because I HAVE looked at their stuff, and: 1) It's really expensive 2) their sizing is confusing 3) it looks like a lot of the sizes I would need are not available.
Funny story that doesn't help you... but my company did an Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality project with LuLu Lemon... basically, a woman would come in and run on a treadmill while we had cameras tracking her tits bouncing... we'd then use AI to analyze said bouncing and then recommend and exact size/model of sports bra to support her. The number of engineers we had to remove from the project because they were crazy uncomfortable with the dev process was hilarious. Some of the raw test footage was pretty fucking hot. "So... we need that GG tit sized woman to come back and do a half marathon on the treadmill again... for... science..."
You know what disease I have only heard of in book and thought it was something that was gone? Scarlet fever. My daughter got it, her friend got it and my wife's friends 1000 miles away have it. Never heard of anyone having it before just something I have read about
Thanks for the reminder. Only sad thing is the hot blonde will not be in it, I am assuming since he is leaving the town.
Is that a joke? I just looked that brand up, and all of their shit is polyester. Jungle Julia is a fabric snob, just like I am a tool snob. If she gave me some tools from the dollar store, I'd smile, pat her on the head and say: "Aww, honey, you tried." And then I'd never use the tools. That's basically what happened last year, when I got her a polyester track suit, only less nice.
One of my grandfathers had it and spent almost his entire WWII service in a Navy hospital. He got out and then got shot by the Japanese somewhere in the Pacific and ending up spending the rest of his time in a hospital anyway.
Funny how something went from being the grim reaper in every old fiction novel to “Well… can you still make it in to work?” Funny also this got brought up, I currently have strep throat.
To be fair, most people who get strep throat don’t get scarlet fever, and if you get scarlet fever no one is saying you just have strep throat. But thank fuck for antibiotics either way. In other news, everyone in the universe is sick and/or has pink eye and I am so tired of explaining to them that viral illnesses don’t respond to antibiotics.
We are looking at a green Christmas around here. The daytime temperatures are barely going to be dipping below freezing for the next ten days. Everything is still mild and the ground hasn’t frozen one bit. I hoping we’re getting one of of “those” winters again that we do every five years or so, because summer sucked with no pool at the trailer this year.
The hell? It got down to 28 last night and that's like the coldest day ever. How do you people live like this?
I had strep throat alot as a kid, and when I was about 9 it progressed to scarlet fever. That was the sickest I can remember being. Couldn’t lift my head off the pillow, raging fever, slept most of the time. Not a fun time.
