Does anyone actually give a shit about the royal wedding outside of the UK? Even in the UK, why is it a big deal?
What wedding? Oh yea, if anyone finds my tv remote I'd appreciate getting it back. Seems like it got thrown somewhere after seeing to many ads for a wedding. And one more thing Spoiler They get married
Prince Harry does make poor choices in the Halloween costume department. Im sure his grandmother was thrilled.
It’s not. The many people who DO still think it’s a big deal fall into the People Who Will Be Dead Soon category. As far as I’ve always been concerned, they are nothing. A useless, shitty family who gets paid $100 million a year to simply exist. I want that bitch off my money, I want their spy taken out of our parliament, go rot in one of your giant fucking castles.
Active shooter at a high school in Houston. I know this board has a few people who live around there so I just hope everyone is safe. I had a bit of a panic for a bit until it was confirmed my sister's ex-husband was safe (turns out he works at a neighboring high school). Given that it's texas though, I wouldn't be surprised at all if some of those seniors grabbed rifles from their trucks and ran back in like "actively shoot this bitch!!"
It’s down in Santa Fe which is a bit southeast of Houston. It’s fairly remote out there which is why the shooting is kinda weird.
I was speaking with colleagues earlier today and the only reason any of us would care about it is if we were getting an extra bank holiday but that's not happening and so no one cares.
Million dollar question. I do not fucking know. Our country’s version of revolt is not like yours. It comes in the form of Not Making Too Much Of A Fuss.
I heard the clip, it was definitely "laurel," thought, "who the hell hears "yanny"?" and then I moved on. But, then I saw this today: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/05/16/upshot/audio-clip-yanny-laurel-debate.html WTF? I have to slide it almost all the way to the right to get "yanny," but as I slide it back, it stays on "yanny" until I get almost back to the center! Gah.
