Just clicked on it and see that it's the Lock Picking Lawyer. Didn't see his April Fool's video, but yeah, dude has some incredibly interesting and educational videos. When I went looking for chains and locks to lock up my bike and portable generator, I followed his advice. Way fucking expensive, but huge peace of mind... especially watching how easily he can break into the normal alternatives.
I will say that my immediate thought from watching his content is "Master and Kryptonite? Pure marketing, shit locks."
My favorite video of his is the Loki lock/puzzle. Interesting to listen to him basically think out loud the steps.
I think a lot of consumer locks are shown to really only be casual deterrents. All of the electronics ones are also kind of nuts because they have serious weaknesses due to requiring a power source. Did you see the "fingerprint lock" that didn't even have a latch hook? It was just smooth steel in to a hole!
