I mean, I get what you’re saying...but the twitter guy says there’s no question it was an atomic bomb.
He’s no ordinary twitter guy, he’s a Somebody. He’s a WRITER, bitch. Sportswriter. For ESPN. Covering the NBA. He used to do that.
The Great Pumpkin is wrong again. Shocking I know. https://twitter.com/BillNeelyNBC/status/1290761746291007489
So it was Ammonium Nitrate. Fertilizer. Explosive compound. Oxidizer. All those wonderful things rolled into a fuckup that literally sucked the oxygen out of half a major city for five seconds. So.... Umm..... Question: WHY was six million pounds of this horrendous shit stored in a busy area for years on end? Do you guys know how much space you need to store something that colossal? So you stick it in the heart of a huge city? I think somebody just might lose their job over this.
"left unsecured for 6 years" how the fuck do you forget to secure it for 6 years? Also, 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate. For perspective, 2 tons was used in the OKC bombings, and we all saw how much shit that destroyed. Death toll is "at least 78." I'm willing to bet there will be hundreds, if not thousands, who will never be found.
And in Beirut. As a child, I remember this city as the Land Of Milk And Kaboom, aka “Explosionville”. A place painstakingly decorated with rubble. The only person that could find any peace there was Frank Drebin. They finally got it looking normal again and some fuckhead blew it up by treating one of the most-known dangerous substances like a hocked boombox.
When in doubt, there’s always magic. I watched David Copperfield do the same thing to a train car once. Except I don’t remember the train immolating an entire neighbourhood during the reveal.
It has multiple downsides: It can burn your lawn, and it can also shatter every window and kill every bird, insect and fish in a five thousand foot radius.
Well, Hurricane ISAIAS fucked us. I’m about 50 miles inland from the coast in New Jersey and we got hammered with rain and high winds. Power and internet are out since yesterday afternoon and there is no projected timeline for them to be restored. Many roads around here are blocked by downed trees or lines. It’s like Sandy 2.0 Fortunately the whole house generator we installed is handling it. Unfortunately it’s seen more use in the last 7 years than should be necessary in a first world country.
Good foresight on your part... hope it gets sorted out soon. Are you like the only house in the area with power?
https://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2020/07/30/penises_are_much_shorter_than_you_think.html In case you were wondering what science has been up to... The research was done at Clemson, and as a native South Carolinian, yup...they certainly are experts on boasting about cocks. Now I can scientifically confirm the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my cock is that its "well-read, above average, and surprisingly good mannered." Apparently my last partner took my cock to a parent teacher conference.
There are one or two other homes with whole house generators, and another dozen or so with the portable generators, and thats in my development (maybe 100 homes). From what I can tell those percentages hold up over most of the town, except for the senior housing and condos.
Step son's birthday is coming up in a few months. He's big into gaming and has an Asian girlfriend. So, this is a no brainer right? https://www.amazon.com/BETOT-Mouse-...,p_72:2661618011&rnid=2661617011&rps=1&sr=8-3 Interesting fact, she is Asian Asian. Like a stereotypical character in a cheesy 80's movie. But, her name is full on Russian. Oh, and her family is Muslim. Not adopted.
The title of that is a Boob Mouse Pad. So, as long as your step son doesn't know what boobs are, yes, that's perfect.
After looking at these photos, I can't believe it's not 10 times that many dead. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/04/world/middleeast/beirut-lebanon-explosions-photos.html FYI, the old trick of right-clicking the link and opening in a new Private Browsing window will get around the NYT paywall.
