I had the Pacific Rim NW Pale tonight. It was ok. I'm glad I tried it but probably wouldn't get a second if I were out. Mildly sweet and hoppy. It was tastier when I burped it.

I went and had a picnic lunch with a bunch of alpacas.

    Happy Saturday!

Not at all... it was outside, and there was a nice breeze, and there was zero smell. Or maybe I have COVID. I prefer to believe that they had no really obvious smell.

Fuck those things. When I was 8-ish, I went to a county fair where you could feed them. I spent damn near my entire allowance on one and the bastard spit it in my face.

I like alpacas. They're like a smarter version of sheep. On the other hand, every llama I've ever encountered has been a dickhead.

Our neighbors had one and it was cool. Too many hippie gypsies try to push alpaca wool products I dont care for any of it

Maybe it was a llama then. It's been 30+ years so my memory might be a little fuzzy

I have some alpaca winter socks that are really fucking awesome... but alas, unlike the "picnic with lambs" event, there were no recipe books in the gift shop.

Nah... that's not her... she's the one with the really shitty teeth. You know it's bad when we all start referring to one particular alpaca as "Gnarly Teeth". We assumed she was British.

That picture pretty closely resembles your average British woman.

Llamas are the ones that are horrible creatures, alpacas are the cool chill ones.

If I had a sure nuff homestead with sheep and/or goats, I would 100% have a guard llama.

If I needed to guard a flock/herd of livestock, I would definitely go with a llama over a dog.

we have a guard donkey for our mini goats. Didn't think he was any good until my brother in law's dog got in there with him. I've never seen a lazy fucking donkey get that mean that quick, nor a dog run that fast. Pooch got outta there with a nip on the ass but he's lucky the donkey didn't shitstomp him.

I had a guard goose for my ducks. A hawk killed it.

    You had a watch goose.

Guard Vs Watch animals. One will fight to defend and have a good chance at surviving. A Watch animal will let you know shit's afoot and might fight but odds are not in their favor.
