I’m summation: mouth breathing dickheads docked their boat where it didn’t belong. Poor bastard just doing his job points out their mistake and gets attacked. Passengers on the steamboat attempting to dock, who happen to be of a similar skin tone as the poor bastard just doing his job, take umbrage and come to his rescue in spectacular fashion. Police eventually arrest mouth breathing dickheads. Cue racial slurs.
Bit more than that. The poor bastard moved their boat out if the way. I think that’s what set the mouthbreathers off. Props to the dude who swam to shore to try and help out.
Black Twitter has dubbed him any of the following: Scuba Gooding Jr Ja'Michael Phelps Aquamayne Blaquaman
Pffft, it's obviously a deep fake. Black people can't swim. Next you'll show me a video of a white guy dunking.
It’s always interesting to read about these types of events. I originally missed the beginning of the video where the white guy started the violence, and was confused. And then, surprise surprise, white dude who got his ass beat ends up actually being racist and not just a drunk boating asshole.
Like Germany always does. For once, the proper justice happened. Not some cadaver in a black robe slapping these cowardly dipshits on the wrist two years from now. They NEEDED to get the absolute shit kicked out of them, and they did. They thought they could tuck tail when the odds got even. Nope. Best video of 2023.
The AirBnb owner where I'm staying was cleaning her other apartment, and sent me a message asking if she could borrow my plunger. This is weird, right? Why doesn't the other apartment have a plunger? Why isn't your solution to go to the Walmart half a mile away and buy one, since the apartment should have one? And now I have to think about whatever grossness you just stuck the plunger into before giving it back to me 5 minutes later. Is it just me?
She might just be trying to fix the immediate problem of a clogged toilet and afterwards go get another plunger.
16 years ago today I survived a brain tumor that left me lucky to be alive and having to re-learn how to walk. Now I'm on week two of my first marathon training block, with another to come early next year. Life comes at you fast.
Sure. If this was my neighbor, I wouldn't even blink. But you own these places. I and others are paying you money to stay here. I would never dream of asking my tenants to loan me their plunger when I could replace it myself in <15 minutes, and need to do so. Only a turd-water-overflowing crisis would make me think, "let me bother my tenants with this" and there was no crisis. Still might just be me. I would have found it less weird if she had asked for a roll of paper towels or something that was a) less obviously in need of replacement anyway and b) less obviously involved in shit when giving it back.
I've walked every one of those streets. Was supposed to go back there over Thanksgiving. Holy fucking shit.
Yeah... I went to a really cool luau(sp?) there called Feasts of Lele... https://www.feastatlele.com/ It's hard to imagine it is all on fire now... But the hardest thing I have to wrap my head around is thinking that Hawaii has forest fires. It's the last thing I would expect to happen... lava flows causing shit to burn? Sure... but how did these fires get going? Everything seems way too lush and green to catch on fire... I'm used to shit being so dry that a loud fart sparks it off. Never mind the crazy winds they're getting that just fan that shit up like a forge... it's insane.
super hot summer and super strong winds from a nearby hurricane. They get a ton of rainfall up in those mountains, but closer to shore it isn't guaranteed. Those shops and homes aren't lush and green, unfortunately. There's videos from cars trying to evacuate, reminds me of that Fort McMurray shit
some killer photos just hit reddit... insane the damage... those videos don't do it justice. I mean, if you look close, the docks on the water burned up. Crazy.
I don't think I've ever had a more WTF reaction to something on the internet that was purely text-based: https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/la...ted-during-delivery-at-metro-atlanta-hospital
