    The Suez Canal Authority released a statement that the ship ran aground after 40-knot winds and a sandstorm caused low visibility and poor navigation.

    Keep in mind, ships of this size have stopping distances and turning radius measured in miles.

    In a perfect example of the Streisand Effect, Reddit has decided to hire a former politician/current pedophile, make him/her an admin, then automatically ban anyone who posted the name Aimee Challenor. Reddit found out. This is a great explanation of what happened.

    As a form of protest, a MASSIVE list of subreddits have gone private as a result.

    Maybe they shouldn't have done that? Funny how the more you try to suppress something, the more it gets out...

    Between Reddit aggressively censoring any discussion of them hiring a trans activist with multiple connections to pedophiles and the Twitter slapfight between Bernie Sanders and Elon Musk, I imagine that this is a very confusing time for the Reddit hivemind.

    So glad I never got into that mess. I search reddit in google when I want see unfiltered reviews of products or specific questions about topics. The community aspect is totally foreign to me and I mean to keep it that way.
