I've tried to grow my hair out a few times, but it's so think and curly, it ends up in a fro anywhere past 2". I've always wanted long hair and it's pretty upsetting never being able to grow it out without looking like Lyle Lovett in the 80's.
For everyone there is a phase between short hair and long hair in which they look either ridiculous or homeless. You just have to commit to getting past that phase.
You’re only thinking of the ones that don’t have fleas. ...sorry, I couldn’t find a photo of Jeff Ross and the child that HE fucks.
The test is making it past your eyeballs without going crazy. I liked my long hair and the lady at Supercuts butchered it. I go between wanting to grow it back out or just back to the high and tight I had forever. My hair is puffy and wirey so it's tough to make look good at just about any length over and inch.
My hair is fine and light and straight, and now it’s thinning, so that sucks balls. By the time I figure out how to style it, I might as well just shave it down.
Soooo that's not you in your avatar pic? My hair has always been thin. Thankfully not thinning but thin. I keep it pretty short and usually brush it forward and then up a little at the front. When covid was in full effect, it got too long to do it that way so I started brushing it back like Gavin Newsom. The wife liked it quite a bit like that but it was such a pain in the ass to manage.
Boxy Brown hair? I wish! In high school I just did a mop top and it was fine. But when my hair is short, it’s light, so it just sticks straight up. For the last few years I’ve been doing the parted look, with pomade holding it back - it’s stylish, and probably hid my balding hair really well. But Nebraska is windy as hell, and I need something less dependent on staying in one spot. I figure, I’ll just go for the “Brad Pitt in Fury” long hair on top. Loose pomade, let it fall where it wants. Then after that, it’s shaving time.
I thought deserts were supposed to cool off at night. Does all the concrete and asphalt of the city retain all the heat?
That's it exactly. I think the Lake Mead area may hold the heat also because it's nothing but rock. I would say I wish I was in the mid west in a farm house right now but they're getting high 90's and 80% humidity. I'll take 115 over that any day of the week.
