Is the lazy part because they don't have to wear pants? If they already have a red down vest, it'll be easier and lazier to go as Marty McFly.

If you try hard and believe in yourself, every week can be rum week.

I'm going for a goal of over achieving. My short term target is rum every other day. Retirement is understated. Everyone should retire as soon as possible.
Since I've retired I haven't been subjected to a single workplace alcohol test.

In keeping with the support your local industries I've been working my way through the offerings from our local distillery in Bundaberg Qld. I'm leaning towards the spiced varieties (and any handy wall) at the moment. Luckily it's distributed nationally as I live on the other side of the country.
Turns out it's actually medicinal. My Docter advised me to drink more water and avoid sugary drinks, so I've been having my rum over ice and chilled water. I think I'll get on well with my new doctor.

Pretty much. Just a longsleve shirt and some underwear.

There were only 3 Tom Cruises out of 30 guys there, which I suspect means moreso that Risky Business doesn’t have as big as a cultural impact outside of the Anglosphere.

    No McFlys though.

I’ve not seen any of the Deadpool movies which I’ll get to at some point. Maybe the edited memes don’t do it justice but Channing Tatum’s whack ass creole accent is terrible. Gambit was my favorite character of the 90s cartoon. I know it’s been a passion project for him that never got off the ground but maybe it shouldn’t. Hell even Taylor Kitsch did alright in the otherwise terrible X-men origins movie.

The enjoyment of Deadpool movies is inversely proportional to how irritating you find Ryan Reynolds.

I’ve seen 20 minutes or so. Seemed like a fun concept. I have no issues with Reynolds. I’m just not buying Tatum as Gambit.

I watched about an hour of the first one. It's fine... but the 12-year-old edgelord humor got old fast. I heard this one was good, I just can't get into it.

I meant to do the dry rub last night, but I'm hoping with the smaller pieces it won't matter too much. I'll be smoking chunks of boneless country style ribs on skewers in the Traeger today. Wish me luck!

Does anyone have a dinner date planned with their grill today?

That was more of a nudge-nudge service, Tatum has stated his dream role was to play Gambit ever since he became famous. Stunt casting was the game here.

There are better cameos, the movie is fun while being no worse or better than the other two films. Hugh Jackman’s Dianabol hangovers during filming must have been BRUTAL.

    I fucked them up. :(

I overcooked them a bit and they got pretty dried out and chewy.

I’m so disappointed that I’ll just go drink for the night.

Happy Labour Day and all that.

Made a steak bearnaise last night. Super tasty, but damn that's a crazy amount of whisking. Trying to figure out if I can make it in a blender next time, but none of the blender recipes I've found actually cook the eggs, which I feel like is a core part of the preparation?

Can you just braise them in something until the meat falls off and do a pulled pork of sorts?

Been there. Done that. Sucks man.

Do you usually cut them first like that? I've never tried cooking ribs that way.

First time cutting them like that to get seasoning/bark all around.

Made the mistake of not throwing a temp sensor in the meat, just the pit.
