Yeah, it'll be a year or more before they replace that bridge. It's a minor road, really, though certainly inconvenient for a small group. I-16 has major port and tourism traffic. But, I'm sure Bo & Luke won't be denied access with a few cleverly placed piles of dirt!
If he raised that bed while in route, I find it hard to believe that it was an accident. There are several steps to getting those things up. The engine has to be at idle, push in the clutch, engage the PTO by an air switch, release the clutch so that the pump is now turning, mine had a lock you had to pull out before you could move the lever to raise or lower. Have they released any explanation from the driver or investigators?
I don't know how it happened. I figured maybe the driver was on drugs. I never even saw anything on who the driver was or if he was hurt. The location was not local to me, so I don't know the newspaper or TV to check out. The GaDOT didnt release that info either. It happened near Soperton, GA, which is a very small town and the whole area is very rural. The only thing I saw was that the GA State Patrol released a statement saying the driver would face charges.
Highly likely. Small, sketchy dump truck companies don't do nearly the amount of random drug screening that they should.
In one of the photos, you could see the name of the company in a sticker on the trailer. Of course it was in Florida.
Damnit. My friend's 17 year old daughter is missing. This girl was raised in a very old school hippy, live-off-the-land type of family. They worked hard, logging their huge tract of land and lived in a cabin. Then she got adopted by a wealthy family in Utah when CPS thought it was in her best interests to put her in a home with indoor plumbing, air conditioning and such. She always talked about coming back home to her dad's in NC as soon as she was old enough. Just hope she is safe.
That’s crazy dude. I’ve been to that stadium to watch the Jackals a dozen times and never seen anything like that. People are getting more fucked up every day.
Damn, that's rough. I hope everything turns out ok. My aunt hitchhiked from Mississippi to San Diego when she was 14 and even though that was in the 50's, I shudder when I think what might have happened.
My favourite take from that catastrophe is Billy Martin ordering his team to grab bats from the dugout and attack the fans in the bleachers. That man did not give a single FUCK.
The players never went into the bleachers that day, they did fend off fans on the field with bats though. In the late 70's I saw Jim Rice go about 7-9 rows deep in Yankee Stadium after a fan stole his cap while he was chasing down a foul. It was quite a sight seeing that enormous man stomping up the stairs and the crowd parting like the Red Sea.
Yeah, this girl is 5'2" and a 100 lbs, and she's stunningly beautiful. She is a little badass, that could probably hike from Utah to NC, but we still worrying ourselves sick.
Kind of like a rain delay. But instead, a lead delay. Welcome to 2021. On the plus side, Machado and Tatis Jr unlocked a gate so fans could shelter in the Padres dugout.
What the hell is going on? It's like people have forgotten how to act in public. Yankees-Red Sox game briefly delayed after fan throws ball at Boston's Alex Verdugo
It's all over the place. https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/c...dant-airline-says/KUBTJV4GN5E7TEP5CGM5Y7PAGY/
