Out of work, middle of a pandemic, lets buy some land! I just couldn't resist the price. An acre and a half in northern California with power and about 200 feet from the paved road.
If y'all ever meet someone with the last name of "Funt" do not immediately start laughing, or at least hold it til later. Pro tip.
....she didn't think it was funny. I just wish there was an Aussie around to go "yeah, mate not a fun cunt at all really".
I went to college with a girl whose last name was Fluck. First class I had with her, the professor called roll and when he said "Jennifer Fluck" I did, indeed, laugh out loud. I got dagger-stared at by several people.
I played softball with a dude who's last names was Fucks. I think he legitimately struggled to find long-term girlfriends but had much success with one night stands because of his last name. I literally do not know the man's first name because everyone only called him Fucks. Fucks has german origins, even has a family crest, apparently.
The Indiana quarterback last name is Penix. It's pronounced Pennicks. You know how many times his name gets spellchecked to Penis, or how he must've been teased? Why didn't anyone ever say, you know if it's pronounced like that, let's go ahead and start spelling it Pennix.
In 5th Grade we had to do a "million dollar project" where we broke down exactly how we'd spend a hypothetical million dollars. I "bought" a good chunk of random land in New Hampshire.
Almost every time I'd go back to Florida, I'd get a bag of boiled peanuts. With my grandparents passing this year, I don't know the next time I'll be back that way so I've been making boiled peanuts at home. Finally got it dialed in about 85-90% as good as the roadside guys have theirs. And virtually no one likes them. The only people who appear to like them are from the South. Everyone else thinks they're disgusting. Is it that much of a regional dish? If you are from the southern states, do you like them? If you're not from that area; have you tried them? Thoughts?
I have several extended family members with the last name of "Fuchs" (pronounced fooks), which in the how you would see it in Texas at least. They both mean "fox".
