So what you’re saying is that I should start charging exorbitant prices for all the milk I’ve been giving away.
Don’t be afraid to broaden your horizons. I’m sure there’s a shitload of things a new mother can sell on OnlyFans.
You are TOTALLY missing the revenue stream here. As per Natch, you should set up a channel that specializes in the harvesting/collecting of said milk. Just sayin.
There are (usually new) moms who need help. Breast milk is especially needed for preemies. Moms who get temporarily sick and their supply is affected can need it. It's superior to formula. Some places have milk banks you can donate to and they'll do some safety testing of it. Moms who pump often have a huge oversupply because they pump extra for their own kid, and when their kid doesn't need it anymore, their freezer is full. Pumped breast milk is hard won and it almost physically hurts to think about tossing it.
All that, compounded by formula shortages. Some babies are sensitive to formula changes but tolerate breastmilk just fine. I think of my surplus in terms of the extra cookies I get to eat. Apparently body builders will pay a lot of money for it but that’s too gross for me.
How the hell do we have formula shortages? We've managed to extract milk from every living thing we've come across, be it animal or plant. Goat milk, cashew milk, spider milk, oat milk, any kind of fuckin' milk.
Smart move. My wife was planning to do a full year, but the kid just decided to stop nursing one day out of the blue.
Complete shutdown of the production plant involved in that recall. Even though some of it's formula products weren't affected and, AFAIK, they still haven't found the same bacteria linked to the infant's deaths. They found some contamination, just not the same contamination that caused the investigation.
Wild! I feel like that would give me lots of big emotions. I think I might have the opposite problem, this kid is still fully a leech and I might have to cut him off at some point.
Oh, she was full of emotions. She did hold onto the colostrum she pumped in the freezer until the kid got his first bad illness.
Well, this is pretty cool. Rando lands a plane with help from ATC. https://www.wpbf.com/article/florida-pbia-lands-safe-passenger-pilot-private-plane/39957179
No, it's that thing Peter Frampton used on his guitar on "Do You Feel Like We Do". The Talk Colostrum.
Damn fine job. There's plenty of licensed private pilots that could have fucked that up in a high performance, complex plane.
Yeah... I'm not sure non-pilots really understand just how fucking amazing that outcome was. Kudos to all involved.
