    The Hader stuff is fucking nuts. He was 16 or 17 years old. Every single one of us was an idiot at that age.

    He's 24 now and still a kid who's going to make mistakes in the future, but at least now he'll be smart enough to just never put it on the internet.

    What I'd like to know is who the hell decided to scour years of the twitter account of a middle reliever who happens to be having a career year? Why would you do that? I'd like to see that person's feet held to the fire and see how clean they are. I'm going to take a wild stab here, but I'll bet there's something in their past that would fire up the internet outrage machine.

    Why would you do that to another person for some stupid shit they posted when they were a teenager?

    That’s just from yesterday. Whenever something truly terrible or tragic happens, he tries to be the first one in with an obvious ‘too soon’ type thing. He even says so himself. He seems to be respected in his community too, so I don’t see a character attack on him gaining much traction.

    RIP Gilbert Godfried. I actually thought the tsunami jokes were funny.

    Maybe it’s just my sense of humor, trying to make jokes about horrible things as a way to find some positive in a negative. My family didn’t much like me joking about dying right before my brain surgery. But whatever.

    There should always be a place in society for edgy comedy and “too soon” jokes. If you don’t like it, ignore it. If you do like it, support it.

    Speaking of the outrage culture, I came across this headline today:

    Khloe Kardashian apologizes after calling sister Kourtney R-word

    Which had me puzzling "What the hell is the R-word?" So I had to click on it to find out what the mystery outrage word was.

    "Kardashian was heard in the video saying to her sister, "Yes, you can, you f–-ing r-----d." And as Kourtney appeared to have more trouble with the devices, True's mom yelled, "Are you f---ing r-----d?"

    It's so offensive they even censored it in the article. The interesting dichotomy is there was outrage over her saying "Retard" and none about her cursing .

    The amazing thing is how anybody would give a shit about any of that at all.

    Retard is a funny word. So is fag and dyke so yeah, NOT gonna stop using them over here. Apologizing needs to be replaced with “Shut up”. It offends you? Shut up. Why apologize to hypocrites who say and do things just as bad as you?
