The past three days in Texas have been perfect but I know the heat is coming back and I'm so mad about it. Give me gray and rainy all day any day.

In central Florida right now with near record highs and 94% humidity. I head home Monday to 111 temps. I like warm weather but fuck me, this is ridiculous.

You say that until you have had 32" of rain in 3 months that are supposed to be your driest.

supposed to get to highs in the low 70’s here next week. In Texas we call that a major cold front!

when we moved to Washington, the locals and a LOT of the wives up there told me I'd hate it because of the rain.

Granted I'm not a fan of flooding outright but I adored the weather in the PNW...especially the rainy season.

@Revengeofthenerds and lows in the 50s!!

Yep, they’ll become really active this time of year. It’s something I look forward to, there’s something about the little guys I love. Although I don’t know if the unusually dry weather will affect their activity or not.

It’s been in the low 70s here today and it is pure Heaven, a sneak peek at what’s coming soon. I can’t wait.

Just got the phone call I’ve been waiting for and it’s official: I’m a bus driver who won’t be driving a bus. My job will be taking temps as kids board and sanitizing between runs. Honestly, I’m kinda relieved, as there’s so little time left to prepare a route.

thanks for what you’re doing man. I work in childcare and we’ve been almost completely unaffected by this, and it’s because of people all across the board not just at our schools but public schools too, who go above and beyond to keep things sanitary and healthy. Parents might not notice the work that people like you do, but they would certainly notice the absence of it

Y'all are talking too-old-to-be-nursing and not one person mentioned Sweetrobin? Rude.

I feel like my reference is too old but that’s kind of the joke.

I vaguely remember a somewhat lively discussion about it. I think it was here.

I've tried to block out that franchise. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed by something I once loved.

The trick is to forget about the last season. Except I used to watch every episode twice but I haven’t looked back since the last episode so there’s that.

I definitely don’t hold it against Kit Harington though.

Y'all should get the same front we get on Tuesday....20+ degree temperature drop.

    90 actually sounds pleasant.

In other news, I (And everyone else in my office), have to work Monday. Ironic. The day created so that overworked employees had an extra day off to give them a break, and we have to work it because we're so overworked.
