Server was running a bit sluggish for a while so just kicked it in the head to get it to do more better. Seems to have worked.
Im pretty much the same way. Even 4-5 beers and I don’t sleep worth a shit. But I still prefer drinking in the evening because day drinking rules out any productivity from me the rest of the day. My day drinking is typically a few cold ones in the shade before supper once my work is done.
Same, just a couple of beers for me. I can still be productive though, just at home. I only drink like once every 2-3 weeks anymore. Pot is still my thing.
Speaking of beers, I just made a trip up through New England and came back with 3 cases of Massachusetts and Maine's finest libations. I figure it'll last me a month.
I can’t stand can label designs these days. Nearly all craft beers have labels covered in psychedelic designs with impossible to read fonts. I want to be able to scan the shelves and easily see what varieties and breweries there are without having to pick up each beer and spend 15 minutes to figure out what the fuck kind of beer it is, never mind who made it and where its from.
Ironically the beer in his picture is not sold in any stores. You can only get it at the brewery itself.
They’ll be on store shelves at some point. You don’t design labels like that to sit in the back of a brewery. They do look cool though.
Tree House certainly does. They thrive completely on their own hype. On any given day there is a line of cars a half mile long outside their brewery and are rated one of the best beers in the world. I highly doubt they are going to be on store shelves anytime soon, or ever.
Same. Day drinking doesn’t mess with my sleep, but it is definitely more like “a couple of drinks” type of day drinking not “woooooo day drinkiiinnngggg!!” day drinking. And I’d totally rather smoke than drink. Drinking means I have to hydrate extra and all kinds of stuff.
house is voting on federal decriminalization (rescheduling it, basically) soon. Once they do, it’ll be up to the states to legalize. Step in the right direction for sure. that being said, I think it’ll take a while for Texas to legalize, even for medicinal use.
Yeah, thankfully I went on a Wednesday, and since the actual brewery is shut down for in-person visitation, I was only able to pull in, pick up my beer and go. That being said, there was still a pretty decent line of people picking up to-go orders, but the operation they have set up is quick and very well run. All told, I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Definitely will be making a trip back whenever they re-open to the public. And to your point, they're among a handful of similar breweries in NE that won't ever distribute outside of their own facility. Alchemist and Trillium also spring to mind in that same regard.
Not legalizing it these days makes you look like ass-backwards cavemen. If it wasn’t such a disgusting thought, it would be hilarious to think how many retards support it staying a Schedule 1. ...unlike all those perfectly safe, non-addictive and entirely healthy drugs supplied to you by your pharmacist and/or bartender.
Heroin is legal. They just gave it a nickname: “Oxycontin”. Same product, different logo. Sure meth makes people look like wraiths, but halcion and ambien make people go blind with rage and have full-on psychotic sprees. But whatever you do, don’t Schedule-one that poison because it helps rich housewives deal with the impossible horror of having to raise their own children at home with no job.
I don’t know how easy you think it is to obtain adhd medication in Texas but in my experience it’s a giant pain in the ass. A LOT of hoops and only certain providers who’ll do it, it’s a pain.
