Finally had a chance to watch Knives Out... really enjoyed it. At the start it was tough to buy Daniel Craig's "Foghorn KFC" drawl, probably because he is so much James Bond to me these days, but that went away pretty fast. All in all it was a great movie.
And Happy Daylight Saving Time. I can't wait until we get rid of that shit once and for all... it seems that some states/provinces/countries are finally saying "STAAAAHP!!!!" What about you all... for? against? indifferent? And just for my own curiosity... how many clocks did you have to change in your house today/tomorrow?
yes and I’m confused. Anyone on that mailing list has to be of the age that they think that stuff is immature and ridiculous right?
I was wondering the same thing. I’ve never been into the self-help books, seminars, videos etc. Most generators of that content are more fucked up than I am and are only cashing in on a lot of very confused people. When I was 14 I briefly kept a diary, more for thoughts and ideas than recording my life. Many of the lessons in those emails remind me of shit I wrote down back then. I wasn’t wise, I was immature.
No, but I follow his Facebook page and see him post a new one virtually every day. It's pretty funny.
you know that guy on Facebook who just started reading self help and business books and now wants to motivate the shit out of everyone he meets regardless if they want it or not? Tucker Max is apparently that guy now.
It's kind of funny how he thinks that he's the smartest guy in the room, and therefore stuff that he's figuring out himself he thinks that nobody else is aware of so just has to share, and come at it from a position of authority.
I know a lot of people in Austin like him. Many of them eventually grow out of it. Some don't. Unfortunately I don't think he's ever going to change. He sold some funny books to people his maturity level, caught lightning in a bottle for a bit, then used his money to buy influence. It's actually sad. Ryan Holiday is actually doing really well for himself now though.
And it’s stuff he apparently didn’t figure out until his mid-40s. Congrats on your discovery of basic critical thinking and confirmation bias, big guy.
