I'm a little late here but my brother had some of this on vacation somewhere and it has made my rotation. It seems to be hotter on some things than others but it has a carrot base I think? I'm not sure and I don't know if it ships to Canada, but I like it a lot. https://www.amazon.com/Marie-Sharps...TF8&qid=1535544566&sr=1-21&keywords=hot+sauce
Some guy at work bought all ten of the sauces from this season and put them in the work fridge. I enjoyed all of the sauces up until 9 (Mad Dog 357). I never tried 10. 9 was too much for me. Their chipotle sauce coming in at spice level 4 is excellent.
I am whipping up some homemade ice cream this evening. I bought a 10 lb bag of ice. (The smallest one.) It's reads "Family Pack" on the bag. What does that even mean?
Nett, listen to ROTN about the Valentina. That stuff is amazing! Like he said though, it's not really hot but it packs a ton of flavor. I usually just put it on these with a squeeze of lime. https://www.amazon.com/Duros-Mexica...id=1535568710&sr=8-16&keywords=mexican+snacks
Yep, the twin-pack shows up tomorrow. Gotta love Amazon... ordered a bunch of shit last night, and half of it showed up today already.
Don't know yet... local courier fucked up. I got 8 bottles of hot sauce today, but the twin-pack arrives tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'm eating like a rabbit... lots of fresh cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden so my go-to lunch these days is some shredded cheese, olive oil, diced tomatoes and cukes, maybe some fresh garlic and/or basil, and some hot sauce mixed in. Fucking tasty.
Secret Aarvark is another one of my go-tos. I always keep some in the fridge. A ton of flavor, not as hot as you’d expect from a typical habanero sauce but it goes great on damn near everything I’ve put it on. My favorite for SA so far though is rice. Rice or chicken, it’s a close call.
I can't believe it cost that much for Valentina hot sauce. It literally costs $1.79 for an 8 oz bottle at the supermarkets near me (Connecticut). I like it but that price is outrageous.
