this. People still wear loose clothing working around heavy machinery. Not something I would personally recommend, but…
Gotta say though, not too impressed. Came through the border and immediately saw some dude walking through traffic with just no shoes on and bleeding from the bridge of his nose. I was like "Holy shit! They have meths up here also!" In Canada's defense, I am in Sault Ste Marie which is probably more of an industrial town.
Isn't that place like like taking the worst 50% of Detroit and the worst 50% of France and stirring them together to make a town?
I made a rack of baby back ribs in an air fryer....40 minutes, 400 degrees. I curled the ribs so they are "standing", bone positioned vertically. Quick, easy, and absolutely delicious....I've done it this way 6 or 7 times now, and it beats the fuck out of a smoker/grill set up that takes hours. Shit was so good I had to clean bbq sauce off my feet and my gf's eyes. I mean, we were positively feral eating this stuff. Best part is they were like $8/rack at Aldi. For $20, I can show up to my fantasy football crew's house ready to feed 5 dudes with about an hour's worth of cooking, and the only thing subject to discussion is what kind of sauce to pair with the dry rub.
Ribs without smoke? That's some heathen bullshit. What's next, you cook some in a crockpot? You have no honor, sir.
I have enjoyed nicely braised ribs with red wine, etc, without smoking/grilling them. Depends what you’re going for.
That's different. I'm talking about people who straight up boil in water to try and speed up the tenderization process and then just finish in a fryer or on a grill.
Good ribs are messy. Boiled them first? Absolutely not. Room temp, heavy on the dry rub, and if you want some char/crisp, tinker with a few minutes on broil at the end. Try before you deny. Look, if I have all day to smoke ribs, then I have broken or pissed off every pussy I regularly access. I went the cheap/quick/easy route to um....address other concerns. When I'm in SC and have all day to do fuck-all, with no gf around, I'll fire the smoker up. I'd prefer to do the smoker on something heavier like a butt or a tri-tip.
And this is why i love my pellet smoker, which some will say really isn't a smoker. I can just set it and forget.
