From an experienced fucked up back person, take max amounts of ibuprofen and acetaminophen and try to get some muscle relaxers up in there. Soaking in a hot bath helps too. The last thing you want is all your chains of muscles seizing up because a nerve got irritated. It's a bad cascade.
I have a bad disc I already know about. I just happened to do the wrong basically normal activity tonight, I guess.
Yep, that's the root of my problems. Repeated annular tearing in multiple dics and multilevel bulging and compression. When nerves around the discs get irritated they displace and cause irritation to muscles around them. Good luck. Nip that shit in the bud's all I'm sayin'.
Out of curiosity, do you have a dead spot on the front of one of your legs where you can’t feel anything?
No but it is possible to have areas of numbness due to disc and other spinal nerve impairments. I have a friend who hurt her back and had a dead spot like you mentioned. She was in the middle of moving across the country with a kid so I think she was able to get pain killers or something to get through the move, but nothing to treat the underlying issue, and it never went away.
Yeah, the doctor I went to was like “yep, that happens.” My right leg is pretty numb right above the knee, pretty much all the time. Now that we’re finally in our house, this year is for doctors appointments. I also need to get a colonoscopy, yay! And NOW I GET TONSIL STONES TOO
My understanding is that areas of numbness can be treated and potentially reversed if it's a recent problem, but if you've had it for a long time you're kind of stuck. Nerve stuff is tricky. I've dealt with back issues since I was 14, without needed medical intervention for a decade, so I've figured out coping mechanisms on top of what medical stuff helps. If you can get early intervention, do it. I don't know what your job requirements are but it can spiral if you're not careful. Especially at your age, you old fuck. Have fun with the prep. Don't get too far from the toilet. Been there, done that. Fuck you Dr. Bryers. Telling me I'm too young when I'm bleeding from my asshole multiple times. I had a close family friend die from stage 4 colon cancer in his mid 30s and I do not play.
If you’ve never had a colonoscopy before, I can promise you the anesthesia is so good you’ll forget about the prep. Best nap ever.
I’m getting it because my mom died of colon cancer, so it’s ten years earlier than they say to…but I don’t wanna fuck around with that. It’s just time to get regular maintenance. Granted, what my wife and I were doing about an hour before I threw my back out is probably why it happened…so yes, I am indeed an old fuck.
I’ve heard that if you have a relative who had colon cancer to get it ten years earlier than they were diagnosed. My mom was diagnosed at 49, I’m 38. I thought they said to get regular colonoscopies after 50. Either way, getting it on schedule then.
I can't even watch a whole clip of testimony in this Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial. If I had to be a juror I might contemplate suicide.
Slight of hand. The Reptilians are setting up their new world order in Antarctica and need attention focused on other things.
