Miyazaki's stuff is really good. Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle are my favorites, but My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Kiki's Delivery Service and Castle in the Sky are also enjoyable.
There are two types of people when it comes to running: those who think running any distance is torture and refuse to engage in any activity which involves it, and those who think running is pure joy and the torture is just part of it. Fortunately we know a lot more about fueling and hydration now, so people don't (usually) die after they complete a marathon. Although it did happen recently to an otherwise healthy 26 year old.
Yeah I finally got a new asthma medication after seeing a pulmonologist and it seems like it is working. I plan on ramping up my cardio. Not with fucking running.
Angel’s Landing would be the top tier for that. Of course it scares the shit out of 99% of people who lay eyes on it for the first time.
Same. My chances of getting back control and choking the bear unconscious are better than me escaping on foot. So I die, it's a certainty.
So...erotic asphyxiation. Got it. Well, that's going to make my last will and testament specific enough to leave no doubt, even if it's a bit weird.
I don’t get these people. Why risk death by strangulation when the same effect can be achieved and you can be saved by your body’s autonomic response every single time by. Holding. Your. Breath.
Wish somebody had told my brother that 25 years ago. Womp womp. EDIT: yeah, for real. (Insert Debbie Downer gif)
Speaking of things that deprive your lungs of oxygen, a dude at Berkley today set himself on fire and was just dancing around. I've seen a lot of weird shit on the internet, and this one was one of the wildest videos I've ever seen. Less disturbing than a beheading, but more "what the fuuuuuuuuuck"
