You guys need to check out this YouTube epidemic of adults reacting to Bohemian Rhapsody as if they’ve never heard the song or Queen before. Give me a fucking break. The desperation people have for attention. That’s the shittiest side of YouTube: it exposes you to the world of people who simply desire to be famous, but want to get there with no effort or speed bumps involved. There are at least a THOUSAND reaction videos of adults pretending to react to a sing they’ve obviously heard before. They’re all lying and it’s hilarious and insane.
I guess its that time of year, but Iczorro has been missing for some time. So in his honor, I present to you...
Looks like our old friend SavageHenry is getting some viral love: https://www.georgetakei.com/mans-re...-ugly-is-resonating-with-many-2621377399.html
Sorry I didn't mean to post that here. And what's bad is I haven't even had a beer yet.... damn, I'm slipping.
Picked another Soviet Pobeda watch. This one is a bit gaudy, but I think it still looks cool. Spoiler
Pilot should have turned around 180° and immediately landed on the mountain he just took off from. But DAMN!
I wonder if he could've held on with the centripical force a 180 turn would've added? I have no idea how controllable a hanglider is normally; the pilot looked like he had his hands quite literally full But that view
How the fuck to you not check to make sure you’re attached though? I would figure those things would even have multiple attachment points as failsafes.
He could turn gently just like he did as he was lining up for the landing. The steep dive followed by the flares/etc would have been more force. Never mind Time is the killer... literally. And hang gliders are very controllable... he was having issues because his centre of gravity was way further forward than expected due to the guy not hanging/laying down as he was meant to be. Having all that weight on the front control bar really messed with him... but he still could have turned (as he did throughout the video). Still, hindsight is 20/20... but there's a reason that we reviewed other peoples accidents so thoroughly when I was a pilot... learn from other people's experiences while you have time to think and understand it, not in the moment.
If you look in the video, the pilot doesn't look down until they are over the barn. I don't think he knew the dude was just hanging until that moment. Once he sees it, it looks like he started to turn right for a return, but then either because he decided to start trying to grab him, or he changed his mind he doesn't. Is it hard to land back into the winds coming over the top of the mountain or something? I have no idea. I was also curious that at the beginning you hear the pilot say "run, run, run" and then wind noise throughout the flight. I was curious why you didn't hear the tourist guy say "HEY MOTHERFUCKER I AM NOT ATTACHED TO ANYTHING GRAB MY HARNESS"
