    The Suez Canal was closed from the end of the Six Day War in 1967 to the end of the Yom Kippur war in1973. The Global economy survived that and will survive this.

    A rum ship ran around. I'm pretty sure @Nettdata showed up and did his part to lighten her up so that she could be floated away, he just may not remember.

    We used to call this fat girl in one of the sororities on campus “Panamax,” which is the maximum size ship that can fit through the Panama Canal. I’m glad that nickname is somewhat relevant again.

    Suezmax is the term for the maximum size ship that can fit through the Suez Canal. Both pale in comparison to the awesome moniker of Malaccamax, the biggest ship that can fit through the strait of Malacca.
