It’s a strange thing to become addicted to, largely because it’s the very first culture you’re introduced to as a kid. It’s strange how so many people can’t grow out of it whatsoever. Where it not only takes up every vacation, but becomes a complete cult-like obsession. And those social media account, some are just hilarious. I checked out a few before we went to use for pointers to getting around, but some of these people…. Sheesh. Again, I don’t know how it differs from being a furry. #PlusSizeParkHoppers
We went to Disney back in 2012, my first and only time. Half the time we were there the boys wanted to go back to the resort to swim. I think it was $6,000 for the trip ( I think airfare included, I don't remember ) but I can only imagine what it would be now. I LOVED it, and swore I'd go back when the Star Wars park opened. But still, the cost would make me balk I'm sure. My wife has a conference there this March and I could go, just need to pay for the flight. But even if I could get the whole week off, I don't want to go do everything by myself and then again when she's done for the day. Nor do I want to sit around and wait for her. So I told her I'd hold down the fort here at home. I'd probably spend the whole trip worrying about things here anyway. I don't travel well.
Dude, the Stars Wars section is amazing. I’m not even a huge Star Wars fan, I left that behind after the original 3 movies, but my jaw dropped when we came around the bend and saw the Millennium Falcon. That was 2 years ago and I still think about it. I went to Disney World as a teenager, when Epcot wasn’t yet completed, then for one day my 30s when my wife and I visited friends in Florida , then with my daughter when she was 4,6,10 and 18 ( being an only child has its privileges). I love it there- as Crown said, the immersive experience and total escape from the real world are awesome. That said, I have no plans to go back, and I’m not sure I ever will now that my daughter is grown. It’s like most interests folks have- fine in moderation, but some people get completely carried away.
Haven't been to any Disney parks in years. but the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando is next level immersion.
I haven't been to Disney World since they built Epcot. I'm sure there are some things there that I would enjoy, but there are other things I'd rather spend my money on. And, I can't imagine ever spending money on a Disney cruise. shudder
I’m not convinced that isn’t a humiliation fetish account. They leave the comments open for Christ sake.
Oh I’ve no doubt we’ll go someday. It’s just that I’ve become more frugal as I’ve gotten older. I’m too much of a Star Wars fan to NOT go see it.
The last time I was at Disney I was 12ish I think? I remember feeling like it was worse than Cedar Point because the rides-to-bullshit ratio was so much lower. I could maybe see taking my kids at some point but when it costs as much as an international vacation… the value just doesn’t feel like it’s there to me.
I was going to comment, but with the 12-year old part it seemed weird. I am definitely into boobs that need to be spelunked. I am definitely not into 12-year olds.
She was average in the looks department aside from the giant rack, but regardless of your opinion on whether Minnie Mouse can be sexy, the childlike demeanor was definitely not a turn on.
That I would at least understand. I have to imagine they have some really mundane or boring life so they retreat into their childhood mentality because it was pleasant there. I have a friend from my college job that I still keep in sporadic contact with. Really nice guy, but he's in his 40s, lives with his parents and sister, and spends all his money on Funko Pop!, going to comic book conventions and Disney World. Nothing wrong with it in general, people should live their lives in a way that makes them happy. But man, that just seems incredibly grim to me. But a social media account dedicated to telling morbidly obese people how to cart their way around Disney World is bizarre.
Funny enough, I happen to know this girl got her boob job her sophomore year in college, and I knew her in her early 30s so... yeah, just about 12 year old boobs. Which is weird. I've never been with a girl who had plastic surgery, but there's something a little strange about sexualizing a part of her body that's not even old enough to drive.
I mean, it's the only way you can touch 12 year old boobs without getting put on a list. Ugh. Writing that made me actually physically uncomfortable.
Are you sure they were 12? They could have been younger. If you've had implants they are going to have to be swapped out eventually.
