I have heard booze is so expensive in Australia that it wouldn't matter to me when they are open, 12 bucks for a beer? GTFO

It depends where in the country you are and you're not wrong with regards to prices of anything in this country. From what friends have told me you can run out of fuel in the US before you run out of food. For the same pair of shoes I can get them $50 cheaper online and that's including the $30 they charge for overseas postage. Fucking gouging money at the moment here.

If you have the means, I highly suggest picking one up.

Ideally you want someone who's native-born Dutch and lives there; they all ride bicycles and have impeccable asses.

Failing that, find one with some good Dutch genes. Unlike those lousy German genes which give up at about the age of 30, Dutch genes keep it going relatively well into middle age.

Your only problem will be not laughing your ass off when you hear her speak Dutch.

Sharon Adel is beautiful and sings like an angel, but she may be a pez dispenser. I can't recall the last time I haven't seen that girl pregnant.

I loved listening to Dutch people shout at each other. It sounds so awesome and unique, like somebody attacking sheet metal with a machine gun and chainsaw.

We had one drive-thru beer store in town, but nobody cared for it. I liked it, because the law stipulates they have to load it into the trunk for you among for a quick in-and-out.

These were true drive-thru stores. You ordered/bought/paid and got your beer through the same window. It was pretty nice.

The places I saw may be closed now. It's been years since I was through there.

It's funny you say that because my first thought after reading this was "she's pregnant again?!?" and went to her Wikipedia page to see. But really, she's only got three kids and she's 38, so you can't really call that excessive or anything. Besides, it takes two to tango and you certainly can't blame Robert for enjoying the privilege he has.

When I lived in Vilano Beach(north FL) there was a drive through bar/package store. They would pour the booze into a plastic cup(over ice if you wished) but they wouldn't open the mixer. That made it illegal. So say, if you wanted a rum and coke you'd get a cup of rum and ice and an unopened can of Coke.

    God, I loved that place.

These are all over Wyoming. I can think of several in the town I grew up in and each will have a line five deep at 5:00pm on a Friday. They will even put single cans in a paper bag for your convenience or include paper bags along with your purchase of a 12 pack for your passengers. I also remember when Wyoming passed open container laws after the federal government threatened to pull highway funding. Until I was a jr. in high school, passengers of a vehicle could legally drink in the car.

Everyone tells me The Cowboy State is the best in the continental USA for scoring booze I guess it helps that only seventeen people live in Wyoming.

I know first hand it isn't tough in Florida, that is a fact.

If there is one thing to love about Missouri, it is perfectly legal* for passengers to have open containers. Booze cruise on a road trip through Missouri? Hell yes!

*except for a few lame counties

I have heard Missouri is the best, South Dakota and Louisiana are also close. In each of those states you can purchased beer, wine, and liquor in convenience stores. In Wyoming there are no beer, wine, or liquor sales in grocery stores or convenience stores. Wyoming's laws in regards to liquor are alright, certainly not as crazy as Oklahoma or Utah but certainly not as good as Texas, Louisiana, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Missouri.

Colorado's laws aren't too bad. You can't buy real beer in a grocery store, instead all you can buy is 3/2. You have to go to a liquor store to buy real beer, liquor and wine. It use to be those stores were closed on Sundays but thankfully that changed.

Btw, I'm going to Missouri for the 4th. It'll be a long ride from Denver. Good to know I can drink in the car, that should pass the time well.

One of the most glorious places on Earth is a liquor store in Boulder called Liquor Mart.

    It's enormous. It's a booze warehouse.

My sister moved to Denver and within 5 hours of living there sent me a photo of that place, it's the biggest liquor store I have ever seen.
