    Um. Acceptable crazy: being the support system, from afar, for your abused ex girlfriend who still has feelings for you. Unacceptable crazy: Moving into a house with said ex girlfriend 1000 miles away from current girlfriend.

    Acceptable crazy: Refusing to move to a new city because your work is in (blank) location. Unacceptable crazy: Demanding that if you move near me, I allow you to live rent free in my home for as long as you want.

    Or at least, those are a couple of my lines (historically). Acceptable crazy was generally irritating, while unacceptable crazy made me want to kill things.

    I'm with Dc, acceptable crazy is quirky and cool while unacceptable crazy is not fun at all and makes you want to claw your eyes out. Unfortunately I attract unacceptably crazy.
