    The Guy Fawkes' Day party ended up being really fun. I, unfortunately, got there too late for the free books, but the DJ was really good - all British music from the 70s through 90s- and it was this crazy, extremely packed, dance party and I didn't stop for five hours. Those type of nights are the best.

    And to whoever doubted my ability/desire to read and discuss books, DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT ABOUT IT? I WILL FIGHT YOU. (Was it you, Ghetto? I TRUSTED YOU.)

    I felt like that Chumbawumba song because I had a drink of every type of alcohol I drink tonight: started with a gin drink, then had a rum drink, then had a beer drink with a whiskey shot drink. Ooooo Dannyyy booyyyy.

    Also, I recently discovered that there's a place near me that's only open at night and it just sells fried things. Fried chicken. Chicken nuggets. Fries. Mozzerella sticks. Fish sticks. This is so dangerous.

    Fuck, I need to move to a city. Random shit like this sounds like so much fun.

    Then again after growing up in an area with 1 person per square mile I'm not sure I could take it for very long.

    Why do you need a city for awesome Guy Fawkes parties. When I was a kid before the government went all fucking nanny state we used to have a massive bonfire on the farm and friends from around the area would come over and we'd all be sitting shit off like it was going out of fashion.

    Good point.

    I think I have this romanticized idea of what cities are actually like. And it's not like I have been a total country bumpkin, so I know how boring and repetitive small-to-mid sized cities can get.

    If I could live in the country and have a small group of friends living in the same area it would be fucking awesome. Cities blow the big one most of the time for me. I hate big fuck off crowds.
