Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Adult lock ins aye... Wouldn't that just be the night club you're in after lock out starts at 3am in the morning until the place has last drinks?
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? The Guy Fawkes' Day party ended up being really fun. I, unfortunately, got there too late for the free books, but the DJ was really good - all British music from the 70s through 90s- and it was this crazy, extremely packed, dance party and I didn't stop for five hours. Those type of nights are the best. And to whoever doubted my ability/desire to read and discuss books, DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT ABOUT IT? I WILL FIGHT YOU. (Was it you, Ghetto? I TRUSTED YOU.) I felt like that Chumbawumba song because I had a drink of every type of alcohol I drink tonight: started with a gin drink, then had a rum drink, then had a beer drink with a whiskey shot drink. Ooooo Dannyyy booyyyy. Here it is: Also, I recently discovered that there's a place near me that's only open at night and it just sells fried things. Fried chicken. Chicken nuggets. Fries. Mozzerella sticks. Fish sticks. This is so dangerous.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Fuck, I need to move to a city. Random shit like this sounds like so much fun. Then again after growing up in an area with 1 person per square mile I'm not sure I could take it for very long.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Why do you need a city for awesome Guy Fawkes parties. When I was a kid before the government went all fucking nanny state we used to have a massive bonfire on the farm and friends from around the area would come over and we'd all be sitting shit off like it was going out of fashion.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Also, I think my (male) cat is sexually attracted to my fuzzy throw blanket because it smells like my previous (female) cat who liked to cuddle on it too.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Good point. I think I have this romanticized idea of what cities are actually like. And it's not like I have been a total country bumpkin, so I know how boring and repetitive small-to-mid sized cities can get.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? If I could live in the country and have a small group of friends living in the same area it would be fucking awesome. Cities blow the big one most of the time for me. I hate big fuck off crowds.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Sure enough. But driving 60 miles to go to a Wal-Mart is getting pretty fucking annoying I must say.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Yeah but I could handle doing that once a fortnight or something instead of putting up with the idiots that roam cities in this day and age.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? True. There are dumb shits out here, but it is easier to put a little distance between you and them.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Out on a farm there are more chances for idiots to blow themselves up too.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? No shame on my side. I went out and had a good time and watched a girl fight at the bar. Now, I drink the rest of my summit EPA.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Life has been cruel to you, my son. My advice is to find solace in some sour mash salvation.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Gravitas the thought behind your words is wise but the choice of them not so much. Rum be my poison. Incidentally I nearly died drinking Bourban when I was 18 so never again.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? I have never seen a true blue girl fight. It's on my bucket list. And BundyBea, rum will do. I need to start drinking more rum. I don't know much about it.
