Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? How much of a difference this makes can vary depending on how popular a breed is, or how much attention breeders pay to fitting into AKC physical classifications (as opposed to breeding a dog for a particular type of work). American-bred German Shepherds have a smaller genetic pool, and they're bred for physical appearance(they retain the working dog qualities, but it is of secondary importance). Apparently, this is not the case in Germany, where they remain healthy, strong working dogs, albeit with more variation in how sharp their face is or how they're colored.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Dog breeds! So my first ever on my own no parents involved dog is a Rottweiler Blue Heeler mix. (Mom was half/half Father was full rott) She's the nicest, most well behaved dog I have ever even known - though I'm fully aware there is a monster bias in that statement. We do take her to classes, which we never did with any of the farm dogs I had growing up. Also, she's super cute. In other news, I felt the Oklahoma earthquake last night! Finally - my first earth shaker. We followed it with several earthquake shots. Focus
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Sorry guys, I got a blowjob last night. Just be thankful I didn't get laid, or you all would have woken up to trumpets, Armageddon, and Jesus complaining about having to negotiate with Satan for a new level of hell for you all.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? So, my husband won the big TV question, we had some nice sexy time last night, and I just made him perfect sunny side up eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast. Is there some sort of wife of the weekend award that I am entitled to? On another note, I just love the smell of bacon. I don't usually eat it, but I love the smell. And that smell lingers all day long.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Excuse you? You should feel honored that your husband let you make him breakfast, its the least you could do.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Fucking jerk doesn't honor me this way any other weekend. I can't remember the last time I made breakfast. Man, he really sucks.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? FUCK THE HATERS. In order: More squat dogs (and one gigantic dog) for me. Also, fuck Bewildered. I'm still on the verge of puking ten pages later from that stupid tick.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Nah, just not so much of a breakfast person. Eggs have got to be the simplest food to make ever.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Oh Jesus, that bottle of scotch was a terrible idea. Relationships are such a pain in the ass some times.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Bernese Mountain Dogs look awesome. I wanted one until I found out how expensive they were. Well that and how they are sort of dumb. Dumb dogs aren't much fun, in my opinion. Reason number 1 toy dogs suck so much overall.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? He is definitely winning. He can pretend to know about plutonium or whatever the week before and still get tv, sexy time, and breakfast the next week? It sounds like you are plain old whipped, mya.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? Mine is half Boxer, half American Bulldog. We thought the bully mixed in would settle her down, but she didn't grow out of tearing shit up and being a trouble maker until just after she turned two. She's not mental like most Boxers though.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? The only american bulldog I have encountered was straight up fucking crazy. Lola was her name and she liked to knock over your beer and drink it for herself.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? About a day and a half. I need to pick cheaper drinks if I'm going to continue to drink like that.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? My sister has two purebred english bulldogs. Boy, what a money suck those things have been. And their life expectancy is no more than about 8 or so years. I just don't get it.
Re: Weekend Drunk Thread, Nov 4-6? I think you may be right, time to summon up my inner bitch. Maybe I will demand that it be fall cleaning day right when football gets started. Or make him go shopping for something like new towels at Walmart this afternoon. Oh, the possibilities are endless. Thanks Gravitas for setting me straight. Good talk.
