I hate insect as much as the next. The seemingly impossible and wholly unexplainable fact that I have somehow become so used to those damn house centipedes that I don't mind them anymore is totally out of my depth of reason. Spiders can still suck a dick though.
I want to post inter TiBer thread too. But the only decent body part I have left are an ok set of legs. And I'm damned if I can figure out how to take a decent calves shot.
If humans who are ordinarily stuck with the hot demands of doing dishes and mopping floors can figure out how to take pictures of their tits and asses, I'm fairly certain a grown man can take a shot of his legs. Pro tip: aim down, click. In other news, I'm having a vodka gimlet and playing all of my recently purchased Nintendo 64 games. I'm going to Sunday Funday my dick off, and you're all invited to participate.
Which games? The N64 I think represents the peak of gaming. Mario 64 was awesome, Mario Kart was great, Shadows of the Empire, and even Golden Eye was pretty solid if you didn't have some douchebag camping on the body armor. The games had a great mix of graphics, game play mechanics, and simplicity. Hard to find anything as good now. Plus, they weren't the sort of $50 titles that take 6 hours to beat like you get now.
Me and kubla magnitudes are about to be in the same building! Roger Waters in Louisville tonight. Should be nothing short of amazing!
Are you seeing The Wall? I loved it. Before the show, I was kind of pissed about how much they were charging but it was worth every penny. And an explanation point.
Another exclamation point. Guys, he's lost it. In all seriousness, have fun. Their albums were among some of the ones I grew up listening to. Mostly because of my parents, but I enjoyed it all the same. I just found out that he'll be at Raleigh, in a month. Hmm...
Enjoy Frebis, it really is a great show. And I have seen Roger Waters several times, with this he was just happy and talkative and excited, definitely my favorite. Plus the spectacle of it all. Rob - if you like Pink Floyd at all, you should go. You don't need the best seats, we got middle of the road ones (still at $100 a pop) and they were just fine.
Huh. Naked shots of Snooki were apparently leaked. Words cannot express how much I would not want to see those. Cheers to Winterbike and Nom for stepping up with their bums in the TiBer thread. I asked the boyfriend if he'd chuck his badonkadonk online and the answer was a resounding "fuck no". I guess that's the line.
Man, you guys are making me consider dropping some serious coin on a ticket for the Wall here on the 19th. I wanted to, but wasn't sure I'd be able to swing the cost. The Wall - the worst produced "best album" ever? I love it, but I have to ride the volume knob the whole time.
Some fast cars went really fast today. Some of them went faster than other cars. There were a bunch of jubilant Mexicans.
I think it's a bit overrated, and suffers from the problem that most double albums do: a fair amount of filler. To be sure, there are some brilliant moments 'Another Brick pt 1 and 2' 'Young Lust' 'Hey You' and 'Comfortably Numb' are all phenomenal, but 'Dark Side,' 'Wish You Were Here' and maybe even 'Meddle' might be better total albums in my humble opinion. I have the Wall, recorded at the Berlin Wall, and like the original, the songs that are great, are really fucking great, and the ones that aren't, are kind of 'eh.' Great idea though, and I hear the concert is fantastic. Waters always puts together a really tight band, so I'd see it for that alone.
There's only one way to listen to The Wall--loud and in its entirety. I got to see it live at the Nassau Colliseum when it was released and it was incredible. I haven't seen the Waters tour, but without Gilmour I'd suspect it would be a little lacking (though he has shown up at some of the concerts, but I think they were all European venues). But given the opportunity, I'd still "go to the show". We were in Mexico when Waters played Dallas in 2010. Marginal seats at AAC were $175.
