New rule: if, during a transoceanic flight, your child hasn't stopped screaming at the halfway point, you are legally required to sedate him with gravol.

Oh, I thought you were going to say "throw him out of the emergency exit."

In fact, isn't that in the cartoon safety pamphlet thing?

Thanks to all of you guys who helped me buff out my night last night! Hopefully tonight will go a little more according to plan.

It's my nearest & dearest friend's 29th birthday party tonight. We're going to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa.... yeah, I know it doesn't sound all that awesome BUT we have rooms booked for the night, a table booked at one of the bars, and absolutely no shame. I am the only single one in this group of friends and they like to live vicariously through me by getting me drunk & egging me on to do all of the stuff their husbands (who ALWAYS come and BITCH the WHOLE time) won't let them do, i.e. dance on the stripper pole, dance with every guy who asks, and just generally be as much of the stereotypical party girl as possible. It's a little exhausting. I feel like an organ grinder's monkey with all of them shouting "DANCE! DANCE, Monkey, DANCE!" But, then again, I'd rather feel pressure to have a good time than pressure to behave myself, so this little monkey is dusting off her fez for the night! Hopefully these last 2 hours at work will fly by. They won't. But a girl can hope.

Parents who don't fly with Benadryl ready for their kids should be fined. Heavily.

Save her from what? Is she in danger? Doesn't she have body guards?

Anybody looking to get a new phone and isn't interested in joining the Apple fan-boy club should get the new Galaxy S3. This phone is is night and day when compared with my old Droid.

I'm breaking into the booze now. Probably not the best phrasing I could have used considering the phone conversations I just had. Fuck it, I'll just copy and paste what I put in the rant/rave thread to explain.

I also just got an email from him with a picture. His face is pretty much all bandage with holes for his eyes and mouth. He's lucky his neck didn't get fucked up worse.

I'm so relieved I can't see this pic. I'd definitely dry-heave and possibly puke, based on that description. I'm not good with the blood and gore of others, yet am fine with movie stuff. It's weird. Anyway, it's good that his brain is OK - you never know with bicycle or motorcycle accidents.

Sooo... anyone up for a Hangout in like 4 hours or so?

Going to get this on August 15th. I've been waiting for a phone good enough to give the iPhone some competition. I refuse to get an iPhone.

It's fast as hell and the screen is massive, that's what sold me on it, the Iphone is too small. Also prefer Android, the Iris voice app is just as good if not better than Siri. Hence why its Siri spelled backwards.

EDIT: The facial recognition on this is awesome as well, automatic tagging of your friends in pictures, also all you have to do is look at the phone to unlock it, it also knows when your looking at the screen so it doesn't time out.

For some fucking reason I decided I'm going to start swimming at 5:30 in the morning starting next week. The pool/gym I go to is fairly crowded, and it's just such a pain in the ass trying to get a workout in later in the day. Exercise seems to always be the first domino in the productivity chain for me, so hopefully I can get used to going to bed at 9 (at the latest) every night.

Long story short, I will not be joining my buddies at the bar tonight so I can be in bed by 10. Dedication, man. I'm only two minutes off of Ryan Lochte's time in the event he won gold in today. If only the Olympics were a few months later...

Not bloody at all actually. Just a lot of bandages. It wasn't taken right after it happened. It happened on Wednesday. I just talked to my father today and found out about it. I'm glad his brain is alright too. When I talked to him he was completely coherent. Apparently his brain was totally fine. His neck was the biggest worry since it was already not great. But it seems to not have been that bad neck-wise. '

I am mostly ok with gore but not with hands and feet. Those really fuck with me. So thanks that toe picture... *shudder*

    So much beer.

    So full.

Racer 5s, Yuenglings, Newcastles, Hop Karma, and two types of homebrews.

Plus, there's a wicked lightning storm going on... it's a good night.
