Funny how we chat on this site pretty much daily and you start to think you know people and then find out someone's wife is in a wheelchair.
Most of my hand tools are Craftsman because that what my dad used and I inherited most of his tools. Years ago, I got a good deal on one of DeWalt's combo kits. they're more than adequate foe my needs and I don't want multiple batteries & chargers so I've stuck with them. Almost all of my flashlights are Surefire. I was issued most of them and they're the only flashlight I've had that doesn't break within a year. That said, I find headlamps a much better option unless I need to throw a beam of light a considerable distance
Old school craftsman are amazing, just like a lot of tools. My cordless power tools are milwaukee, my hand tools are JET(i sold them so cost plus 10, i spent way more then i should of), my wood working powertools are mostly mastercraft maximum(good for the price).
Check out Zebralights. They also have hybrid-style headlamps that you can remove and use as a flashlight.
I forgot headlamps. I bought one for fishing and hunting and it has been an undeniable piece of equipment even though it is some cheapie Amazon buy. Id like to find a decently high lumen brand that has red/green light too and buy 3-4 of them to just have at my house, car, hunting/fishing packs.
