Probably my favorite song of all time, played on a piano. The guy playing has insane talent to be able to play those poly-rhythms like that. If you really want to mess with your head, check out the Fibonacci sequence in relation to the song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number
Ray Wiley Hubbard- Conversation With The Devil This song has one of my favorite music quotes. "I didn't use the cocaine to get high I just liked the way it smelled!" <a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2G9_TbXro4&feature=PlayList&p=6D6400A613A7F36D&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=35" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2G9_TbX ... Reckless Kelly- 1952 Vincent Black Lightning & Guacamole This should be the official fight song or national anthem or battle cry for gingers. It really makes me want to jump on some ginger snatch and make guacamole.
When I'm writing papers or studying, I often like to listen to classical music. I don't know the validity of the old "you learn more when listening to classical music" myth, but it puts me in a calm relaxed mood and I find it at least easier to focus on school work. Not to mention I love the genre in general. One of my favorite pieces of music ever. Hauntingly beautiful. This is just the first part of the first movement, the rest of it is magnificent as well. Chopin's first Piano Concerto as performed by Yundi Li.
Rob Zombie's sick, funky new single What?! off his final album. The guy never fails to impress me. While we're at it...
The good ones always go way too soon. I'm so thankful I got to see him live a couple of times before he did.
Texas Tornados Who Were You Thinking Of? Freddy Fender was amazing. I have been itching for a trip to Texas for some time and this isn't helping.
I think I have found my best replacement for Pantera. Not quite as good, But these guys play some truly heavy and sonic shit.
